★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really a fantastic facility. Came in for a powerlifting coaching session with Sean, and left feeling a lot better after some very subtle changes. From the looks of it, the gym is outfitted with some top notch gear and is a great space. If I lived closer, I'd be getting a membership.
August 15 · Jack FlemingAwesome gym with awesome people. Kurt is great. My son qualified for Youth Nationals USA Weightlifting. Needed a gym with competition KG bumper weights. Looked all over for a gym on Long Island where we live with no luck. Sent a request to Murder Of Crows Barbell asking for help. Kurt responded right away. He set up an area for us to do the competition. He even set up a TV and speakers so we could watch the live event while my son competed. Kurt was extremely knowledgeable of how the competition ran and gave great guidance and took care of declaring weights. My son got Bronze in Snatch and 5th overall in his first real competition setting. Don’t think he would have done as well without Kurt’s help. Highly recommended weightlifting gym!!!
December 05 · Eric CombsI've been a MoC member for 2 years. During this time I've met some great folks, got myself in the best shape ever, and got myself seriously addicted to the sport. The programming is solid, and workouts can always be scaled up or down to match your abilities. Coaches always keep an eye on everyone and give some great advice, they also encourage you to be a better version of yourself without anxiously competing with anyone else. I highly recommend at least attending a free trial, and then 6:00AM crosstraining classes if you can manage ;)
May 25 · Konstantin LazarevOne of the best gyms I’ve been a member of; it really feels like a community. Ample space and equipment for both weightlifting and powerlifting. Also, very LGBTQ+ friendly.
October 17 · Oden GrothI don’t have enough words to talk about how great this box is. I recently moved to Brooklyn and needed to join a new gym. All the coaches have been so welcoming and helpful. Even the owner Kurt has been so helpful in recommending PT for a shoulder injury I have. If you’re looking for a welcoming, open minded, friendly crossfit experience, look no further - this is it!
