★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Mission Fitness Center is my happy place!!I started coming here in the spring with my trainer, Eric Chan, and the experience at this gym has been wonderful! From day one, the energy in this gym stood out - and it starts at the top with Chris and Wendy, the owners (and their kids!). You can feel that it's a family-run space with heart.Since I started training here with Eric, my strength and physique have improved by leaps and bounds. And I have no doubt a huge part of it is being at MFC, surrounded by people who truly care about their workouts in a real-deal facility. I mean, this is the type of place where people stop and cheer on powerlifters who are going for a PR. That kind of energy is contagious! Here are some other great elements of this gym:- They have tons of equipment + attachments - everything you need whether you're beginner or advanced- Phone or headphone charging station- Towels - both for you, and separate ones to wipe the machines with- Clean locker rooms- Free parking- Chalk buckets! I didn't know this was missing in my life- Stocked fridge and snacks for sale if you forget or need a pick-me-up- Most importantly, super friendly staff and clientele!!I can't recommend this place enough. If you want a gym with real community, great energy, and people who truly care - this is it.Thank you, Chris and Wendy, for creating something so special!
August 17 · Tiffany DyerThis will be my first initial review based on over the phone customer service. Braden, was very polite and helpful.*Will update information once I get to check out the gym. Looking forward to find a powerlifting community in the San Gabriel Valley.
September 13 · Edward ChienOne of my favorite gyms I’ve been to. Everyone at the gym is nice and will help spot you if you need it. Chris and Wendy are awesome people and so are their kids who help run the place. They have everything you will need and then some! If you’re in town traveling, they have $5 Fridays & day passes. All in all a great place to workout!
June 11 · J GFive dollar Fridays are great. When you don't want to commit and see what it's like. Enjoy using the gym and be prepared. Those plates weigh more than your regular gyms weights. But if you're ready to lift this place gets you, you want to go heavy? Go heavy.
May 11 · Alvin LuuIt's not 5 out of 5. It's 10 out of 10. It's a fresh breeze. Not bullshit loud music. No teenage groups take the spot for an hour. No ladies in yoga pants and big headphones. Perfect place to build muscles and spirit. There are a lot of bars. No frees. No contacts. Paradise. My only regret is that I didn't find this place earlier.
