Recreational Gymnastics Classes: The cornerstone of their offering, these classes are designed for children new to gymnastics through advanced students who prefer a non-competitive experience. Programs are generally split by age and skill level:
Preschool Classes (e.g., Mini-Movers, Kangaroo, Spinner): Fun, movement-based classes for the youngest children (ages 2-5.5) focusing on developing basic motor skills, balance, and coordination.
Girls Recreational Levels (Level 1, 2, 3, 4+): Structured programs for ages 5.5 and up, teaching progressive skills on women’s apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, Tumble-Trak, Pits). Progression is skill-based, with progress reports tracking mastery.
Boys Recreational Gymnastics: Classes focusing on men’s events (Floor, Vault, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, Rings, Tumble-Trak) and building fundamental strength and body awareness.
Tumbling Classes: Dedicated instruction focusing specifically on floor skills, often popular with cheerleaders and dancers.
Girls and Boys Competitive Team Programs: For dedicated athletes, Metro Gymnastics fields competitive teams that train and compete under the guidelines of organizations like USA Gymnastics or AAU Gymnastics. Team programs require a greater time commitment and generally involve an annual tryout process.
Special Events and Ancillary Programs:
Birthday Parties: An exciting, structured option for a child's birthday celebration, typically including supervised play time in the gym area with various apparatus, followed by time in a dedicated party space.
Summer Camp: Half-day or full-day structured camp programs during the summer break, providing both gymnastics instruction and fun themed activities.
Parent's Night Out: A popular monthly event where children (typically ages 5 and up) participate in structured games, activities, crafts, and snacks, giving parents a much-needed evening out.
Private Party/Private Lessons: Options for one-on-one instruction to help a student master a specific skill or private access for a group event.

Reviews consistently highlight the quality of the teachers, noting that they "give attention to each student individually" and are "all wonderful." The coaches are dedicated to teaching life skills—such as strong work ethic and respect—that go beyond the gymnasium.
Progressive and Safety-Focused Curriculum: The recreational program uses a skill progression system where students must achieve a high level of proficiency before moving to the next level. This ensures children learn safely and effectively, building a strong foundation in strength, flexibility, and proper technique on all apparatus.
Family Viewing Area: For safety reasons, only enrolled students are permitted on the gym floor. Parents can comfortably observe their children's classes from a dedicated upstairs viewing area, which often includes TV monitors for a clear view of the action.
Commitment to Organization and Fun: The center is highly organized, which leads to a better learning environment. One customer noted, "She loves the group gym class and it’s incredibly organized and fun!" This balance of structure and enjoyment is a core value.

Choosing a gymnastics center in North Georgia means selecting an environment where your child will be physically challenged, safely instructed, and personally encouraged. Metro Gymnastics is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that resonate with local families.
First, the center offers consistency and a clear path for growth. Whether your daughter is starting in a Level 1 recreational class or your son is joining a developmental team, Metro Gymnastics provides a defined, progressive curriculum. This ensures that every child is continually challenged at an appropriate level, minimizing frustration and maximizing success. For parents, this organized structure—from ongoing monthly enrollment to clear move-up criteria—provides peace of mind and allows for effective planning around other seasonal activities like soccer.
Second, the emphasis on a positive and individualized experience is a standout feature. In a large group setting, individualized attention can be rare, but Metro Gymnastics is frequently lauded for the coaches who genuinely care and connect with each student. This supportive approach builds self-esteem and confidence that children carry outside the gym. It turns an extracurricular activity into a truly impactful developmental experience.
Finally, the comprehensive special events schedule—including Summer Camp, Birthday Parties, and the much-loved Parent's Night Out—makes Metro Gymnastics a central hub for family and community engagement. These offerings provide flexible, safe, and fun options for childcare and celebration outside of regular class times, adding immense value for busy Georgia parents.
For families in the Suwanee area, Metro Gymnastics is more than just a place to learn to tumble; it is a community where children learn discipline, achieve physical milestones, and build lasting confidence, all under the guidance of exceptional instructors.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’ve only been here for a month with our daughter and it’s been an amazing experience. She loves the group gym class and it’s incredibly organized and fun! We have to take a break during soccer season but she’s already asking to come back. Thanks so much Metro! ❤️
February 15 · Mekensie GonzalezMy daughter has been with Metro for over a year now. What really impresses me is how they give attention to each student individually. Lisa, Luke, and Brittney are all wonderful. My daughter has grown and learned so much since she started attending gymnastics classes here. She loves it and so do I! Sign up! You won't regret it!

October 13 · peter bickertonLisa, Luke and Brittney are the best! Had my daughters 9th birthday party here and the kids loved it, the amount of planned activities was perfect and kept the kids entertained the entire time. Highly recommend for classes or birthday parties.
September 12 · Nicole TranterMy 2 boys (3, 7) went to metro gymnastics weekly for approximately a year (or a little less). I can honestly say I was it was a really good fit for both of them in terms of teaching style and accommodating to the inexperienced (first time) gymnast. Unfortunately we had to stop when my 7 year old was confirmed on the spectrum and was immediately thrust into occupational therapy, speech therapy and behavioral therapy (3x a week).I am thankful for how well the trainers worked with both of my boys. The young male trainer (I believe was the owners son?) especially was so caring and helpful to my 7 year old which not only made it a great experience but I felt was a positive influence and role model. All the trainers were great. The class sizes can get large. They break them up into 3 groups and rotate stations throughout class. It moves pretty quick and multiple children are active at one time so I would not say there is alot of downtime such as you might find with group swim lessons.
