Massachusetts Gymnastics Center Reviews
MGC is a hidden gem for school vacation camps. Also—affordable private lessons, many levels of group lessons, a low-pressure end-of-year show. Low turnover on the staff, with female and male coaches. Great ownership/management. Great experience for kids of all ages and levels. MGC is also very caring with kids who have some level of physical disability. My child has benefitted from being there.
February 22 · Jen Hendrey LapanMy daughter has been going here for about a year and a half starting before the pandemic. The quality has declined since she started. She is now at the age where she is potty trained and the staff has encouraged parents to dropoff rather than wait to allow for social distancing. However, the staff is neglectful of the children. My daughter was excited to see her coach when she arrived last week but the coach was rude to her and told her she did not have her this week making her cry. When we returned to pick up my daughter, she was crying and bouncing like a kid does when they have to pee. It turns out she needed help with the light switch but the coach told her she was busy. I reached out on the corporate website asking me be contacted twice, but no call. This week we decided to try again and made sure my daughter used the bathroom before we left the house. However, after drop off she needed to go again but this time had some trouble getting her leotard back on. She stayed in the bathroom yelling for help. I am not sure how long she was in there but when my wife arrived to pick her up,she found her still in the bathroom. When she asked the coach, she claimed she did not notice. When she asked tha manager, her excuse was "We are part of USA gymnastics and we have a lot of kids to watch."Luckily she was only in the bathroom and not taken out of the building by someone or who knows where she would be now. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!! SAFETY ISSUE!!!! 0 Stars if google would let me.
