★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I may be the oddball here compared to other reviews, but felt it was important to note my experience for other women. About a year ago, I was a new mom who was struggling to get in shape and make time for myself. I was also fairly new to Chamblee and hadn’t tried many gyms near me. I found this place online and thought it was wonderful- only a few miles from me, women owned, and baby friendly! I started off about 2 times a week and tried various instructors. I would modify exercises since I had a c-section and didn’t have my old stamina. Most instructors seemed to be okay with this and would even come over to help me. After a month or so, Lacey told me after class that I may benefit from personal training. I thought it was nice, but explained that I barely had time to make it to the regular classes as a new mom and wasn’t ready for that kind of commitment. (On a personal level, I also enjoy group classes because it motivates me to have others around). She further pushed the topic and said I should do personal training only and then eventually join back into the group classes. This place was marketed as a gym that welcomed all levels of fitness, so I was a little thrown off by this. A day or so later, Gabby emailed me again asking me to consider personal training. This was a little too pushy for my liking. I repeated everything I told Lacey in my email back, and still said thank you for the offer. Also, I acknowledged that I may be slower than others (which again, I had only been back at the gym for a little over a month), and asked if “she felt I was holding others back in a group setting?” And never got a response on how to proceed. This felt so unwelcoming and no one should be forced to sign up for personal training. It has now been about 12 months, and I am in a much better place- have improved my core strength and endurance, lowered my BMI, and most importantly, found other women owned gyms that support me. I was never pushed or asked to leave any other group classes at other gyms. Sadly I wish this place worked out, but just wasn’t a good fit.

I have gained more than just muscles weightlifting over the past few months. This is a great place no matter what your level is!!
August 07 · AllieI highly recommend this gym! No matter your fitness level, there’s always flexibility to scale up or down based on your needs. After undergoing surgery in November, I had to start from scratch—first through personal training and then transitioning back into regular classes. The coaches have been incredibly supportive and accommodating, ensuring I can participate while respecting my limitations. Their guidance has been instrumental in my recovery journey, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them. The community, the workouts, and the coaches make this gym an amazing place to train!

February 18 · Rosheena HairstonLacey hosts a great workout class. She motivates everyone through their workouts. There’s individual attention given to help you correct or modify the exercise. My husband and I tried it out for the first time this Sunday. We got our sweat on but felt super good. Can’t wait to come back!
