What is Worth Choosing
LAKO Boxing Club & Training Studio is an exceptional choice for California residents seeking a holistic and high-value fitness experience. It successfully bridges the gap between an intense combat sports gym and a community-focused wellness center.
What makes LAKO worth choosing is its dual focus: high-quality coaching and unparalleled recovery options. Many gyms offer a great workout, but few in the Eagle Rock area provide a dedicated, professional-grade Recovery Room offering advanced therapies. This comprehensive service means you can push your body to its limits in class and immediately invest in your repair and longevity, a critical advantage for consistent training.
The atmosphere, as described by real customers, is another major draw. The welcoming, non-judgmental, and LGBTQ+ friendly community ensures that everyone, regardless of their background or current fitness level, will feel part of a community—a rare and valuable find in a large city like Los Angeles. Whether you're a parent enrolling your child in the Kids' Boxing program, a corporate professional needing a stress-busting workout, or an aspiring fighter, LAKO’s combination of great staff, awesome workouts, and top-tier facilities makes it an undisputed 10/10 recommendation for your fitness journey.

September 20 · Bastien HattigerBeen my gym for the last three months. Good staff, awesome coaches always a great work out whether you take the class or just lifting on your own. 10/10 would recommend. Also the front guy David is handsome (he did not tell me to write this)
October 16 · Lucas GaoCame in to practice some boxing. They offered a kickboxing class and I'm glad I joined. Coach Joe was amazing, very knowledgeable and Alissa at the front desk was very friendly. Amazing spot with great people to spar with!
July 13 · Alexander LuquenoChrist best training for boxing 🥊 thanks for all the tips and supplements u recommended me i have seen my transformation too fast 🙏. Love this place. And the environment 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
August 16 · Juan RiosThere is no other place in NELA like LAKO. Don’t let the fact that it’s a boxing gym intimidate you. Everyone there from front desk, to trainers, to the other members are not only friendly and welcoming, but they make you feel strong and empowered every time you walk through the doors. And you leave feeling even better. The classes are suitable for people of all skill levels and you have your choice of boxing, kickboxing, bootcamp and sparring. The trainers are top notch (shout out to Justin!). If you’re looking to get in a workout between classes, they have cardio equipment and weights. There’s a recovery room for cupping, compression sleeves and IV drips, etc. Rates are competitive, bathrooms are always nice and clean, music always bumping and if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Koko the mascot :)
