The only thing that keeps myself and a lot of people I know going here is the basketball court. Except now, because of the behavior of a couple people, they lock the court, refusing paying members the right to use it. I play here 4+ days a week, and the amount of "problems" are very few and far between. But instead of banning the people who cause the problems, every paying member that wants to use the court is now prevented from doing so.

I like how spacious the gym is in terms of having multiple floors and other features such as the basketball court. Only used the gym for a short period on holiday but the staff were great and would definitely come back again!
July 01 · Malachi BennettThe pool has been unavailable for 6 months, both here and at the other Pittsburgh locations. This is the feature that I signed up for so as to triathlon train; otherwise, Planet Fitness, 3 miles closer and $20/month cheaper is a better deal for me. When I explained this to the LA Fitness Manager, he said that my monthly dues only grant me access to the building with expectations for any particular fitness equipment or activities, even those advertised on their websites. He said, "Well, the pool is open as of today at Bridgeville, but they have no plans to open the others." No, "I'm really sorry about that." Or,"We've let you down." And no refunds are offered! No empathy or caring. Really just a "Well, it will be good to cancel your membership so that I'll have fewer customers to manage. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
July 16 · Bill GrayhackGreat place to work out, enjoy the saunas and the machines and weight that they have in the upstairs area. There are courts to play and treadmill downstairs as well. Staff is very nice and helpfull.
May 21 · Chris TavolettiThis gym is so gross. I tried to enter four stalls in the ladies room and they were absolutely filthy with... I don't wanna mention it... use your imagination! We go to the gym to get healthy but this place is a health HAZARD! I think I'm going to file a complaint with the health department. It's that bad. The air conditioning was broken today, when the temperature was 93 outside. Air conditioning is required on a day like today and if the gym can't provide it, it needs to close down. I saw some older gentlemen who looked like they were about to pass out. The most unbearable heat due to broken air conditioning was in the ladies room, and I've already mentioned how disgusting that was. Add what felt like 110° heat to the stink and the dirtiness. From the presence of all the cheap fans they have hung on the walls, I don't even think they have air conditioning in the weight room. I can't believe I paid over $200 initiation fee for such a ripoff. Nobody cleans and nobody cares. I can't imagine even ONE person pooping all over the place in a Ladies' Room toilet stall. Here there were FOUR "LADIES" who did that! Did they overdose on steroids... or Ex-Lax?! (Or maybe just one person goes in there everyday and poops up the place... nobody ever checks or cleans anything so who knows how long it's been there. That poop may be fossilized by now.) On the positive side, you're guaranteed to lose weight by going here. Just thinking of that Ladies Room will ruin your appetite. And you can defrinitely get in a good ab workout... by throwing up!
