Kindred Cville offers a variety of specialized services that cater to the unique needs of families.
Flow & Play Yoga for Caregivers: This innovative class allows caregivers to practice yoga while their little ones play in the same space. The classes, like the one led by Jenny, are designed to be restorative for the parent while also being fun and engaging for the child. Instructors often model poses using their little ones, providing a practical way for parents to incorporate their child into their practice.
Quiet Time Yoga: Geared towards older toddlers and young children (like the 3-6 year olds in the review), this class is a playful introduction to yoga. It incorporates stories, games with props like pom-poms and scarves, and simple movements, making it a delightful and age-appropriate activity that is "adorable," as one parent noted.
Prenatal and Postpartum Wellness: The studio is a prenatal and postpartum wellness collective. They offer specialized support for expecting and new parents, with classes and workshops focused on building strength, preparing the body and mind for birth, and navigating the postpartum journey.
Community Meet-ups and Workshops: Beyond regular classes, Kindred Cville fosters its community through various workshops and meet-ups. These events provide opportunities for parents to connect, share wisdom, and learn from expert perinatal support providers on important topics.
Yoga Classes: The yoga classes themselves are a nondenominational blend that works for all bodies, with instructors who bring their unique gifts to every class. Classes are community-centered and include physical postures, breath work, and a meditative aspect. They offer a range of classes, from powerful flows to gentle and restorative yin yoga.
Kindred Immersion: A unique 90-minute practice that blends a power flow with a yin experience, allowing practitioners to enjoy a comprehensive workout that builds strength and resilience, and concludes with a deep stretch and relaxation.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Quiet Time yoga for 3-6 year olds was adorable! We flew like airplanes, read through a yoga-themed children's book, and played with pom poms and colorful scarves. Even better, I got to relax with a mom friend and catch up after while kids played in the play area. It was a wonderful start to our Sunday morning!
May 08 · Ashley ForeI did the Flow & Play Yoga for Caregivers with Jenny. The class was fun, we had time to connect with other caregivers, and the yoga was restorative. My little one had an awesome time, and there was a nice balance of letting the little ones play with toys as well as time to use your little one in a yoga pose. Jenny modeled the poses using little ones so I could figure out how I would do the pose. I would highly recommend!
