The studio is a go-to destination for anyone looking to challenge themselves physically while also finding a moment of peace and focus.
The core of ID Hot Yoga's appeal lies in its diverse class offerings and the exceptional quality of its instructors. The studio goes beyond a single type of practice, providing a variety of classes including "slow and gentle classes with weights or candle lit sessions." This range ensures that there is something for every mood and every fitness level. Whether you're a seasoned hot yoga practitioner or someone cautiously returning to the practice after a break, you'll find a class that fits your needs. As one customer beautifully articulated, returning to hot yoga after a significant life event was "intense," but they "got through it and felt amazing," crediting their instructor, Oscar, with an "incredible" class that made them "feel like a pro." This speaks volumes about the supportive and professional environment.
The intensity of the hot yoga practice at ID Hot Yoga is a key feature, and the studio is well-regarded for providing a truly hot experience. A reviewer advises attendees to "take care of yourself and make sure you have a water bottle with you and ideally your workout outfit is made of organic materials." This is a testament to the effectiveness of the heat, which helps facilitate a deep sweat, detoxification, and increased flexibility. The heat, combined with the focus on breathing and movement, helps students free their minds and achieve a deep state of concentration, which is a powerful tool for navigating the demands of city life.
The instructors at ID Hot Yoga are consistently praised for their talent, guidance, and passion. The first-time mom who felt "nervous" about returning to hot yoga found that Oscar's "energy, guidance, and flow" made the class feel "just right." This kind of personal connection and expert instruction is what truly sets a studio apart. Another long-term client stated that "teachers are all amazing" and that they consistently feel like they can "learn something special from the different styles of the instructors." This diversity and quality in the teaching staff ensure that every visit is a new and enriching experience.
For those who are just beginning their hot yoga journey or returning after an injury or life change, ID Hot Yoga is a highly recommended place to start. The instructors are skilled at providing the necessary support and modifications to make the practice accessible. The community that the studio fosters is another significant benefit. While the classes are intense, the overall vibe is one of support and shared accomplishment. You're not just a face in the crowd; you're part of a community that understands the challenges and rewards of the practice.
In addition to the onsite classes, ID Hot Yoga also provides online classes, offering a level of convenience that is invaluable to New Yorkers. Whether you're traveling, have a conflicting schedule, or simply prefer to practice from the comfort of your home, this option ensures you can maintain consistency in your wellness routine. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been coming to this studio for a while now and I love it. Teachers are all amazing, they also have different types of classes including slow and gentle classes with weights or candle lit sessions. Their yoga is really hot so you want to take care of yourself and make sure you have a water bottle with you and ideally your workout outfit is made of organic materials.I absolutely love this place and recommend to anyone who wants to feel in tune with their body and unwind from the busy city life.
July 02 · Anna LesunIt was my first time back at hot yoga in a while. A year ago, I broke my left wrist, and that same year, I gave birth to my first child. It wasn’t an easy delivery, so I’ve been slowly getting back to myself. I just returned to the gym a few days ago, and today I decided to finally try hot yoga again.I was nervous it might be too much—but even though it was intense (not gonna lie!), I got through it and felt amazing. The breathing, the focus, the way my mind felt free—it was exactly what I needed. Oscar’s class was incredible. His energy, guidance, and flow made me feel like a pro 😅I’m so glad I came, and I’m already planning to add hot yoga with Oscar once or twice a week. I also want to try his Pilates recommendation! I 100% agree that how you feel in a class depends on the instructor, and Oscar made it all feel just right. Super happy I took that step today!
May 25 · Ardak MUAOn a recent stay in NYC I decided to complete the ID Yoga 30 Day Challenge. Yoga is not my exercise of choice and as a matter of fact Ive never really found a connection to it. That all changed with ID Yoga because day 1 was truly the beginning of my overall journey with yoga. The studio offers an assortment of classes with thoughtful instructors. I promise you that you will not find any of them lacking in knowledge, enthusiasm, heart and soul. Each instructor taught me not only new practices, but also how to move my body in a way that truly was transformative. I am 54 yrs old and I can honestly say that after 30 days my body has never felt better. Whether you’re new or experienced ID Yoga studio and the myriad of knowledgable instructors will keep you coming back over and over again. I encourage you to give it a try!
