The studio's schedule is designed to provide a comprehensive wellness experience, combining intense physical workouts with mindful and restorative practices. The range of options ensures that you can find a class that challenges you in a way that feels right for your body and mind.
Hot Yoga: The cornerstone of the studio, these classes are held in a heated room to promote detoxification and increased flexibility. The heat makes the practice more intense and is perfect for those looking for a deep, sweaty workout.
Beginners Bikram Yoga: This is a specific series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises. It is a rigorous practice that builds strength, balance, and flexibility. The consistent sequence allows beginners to learn the poses and track their progress over time, and it is known for being incredibly rewarding despite its intensity.
Vinyasa: These classes focus on fluid movement and linking breath to motion. Vinyasa flows are dynamic and creative, helping to build strength and endurance while allowing for more variation in the practice.
Yin Yoga: This is a slower, more meditative style of yoga. Poses are held for longer periods to target the body’s deep connective tissues. Yin yoga is perfect for improving flexibility, promoting relaxation, and achieving a sense of inner calm.
Pilates: In addition to yoga, the studio offers Pilates, a low-impact, high-intensity workout that focuses on core strength, muscle toning, and body awareness. This service provides a great cross-training option for members.
Personal Training & Private Lessons: For those who want one-on-one attention or a customized plan, the studio offers both personal training and private lessons. This allows for dedicated guidance from an instructor to address specific goals or concerns.
Group Lessons: The studio’s regular group classes, with a starting price of US$30.00 per session, create a vibrant community atmosphere where members can connect with each other and collectively build their practice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve tried many yoga studios, but Hot Yoga Sutra truly stands out. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and create a welcoming environment for all levels. The Bikram classes are intense but incredibly rewarding—perfect for building strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. The studio is always clean and organized, with a strong sense of community. After just a few sessions, I noticed a real improvement in both my body and mind. Will kicks my butt and that’s what I come for. It’s challenging and very rewarding. As a snow sports athlete, I highly recommended for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice or start fresh with supportive guidance.
June 09 · john boscoStarted going here a little over a year ago. It has made a huge difference for my mental and physical wellbeing. Very welcoming to people of all abilities. The teachers are all very dedicated to their practice and to the wellbeing of their students. The pricing is great compared to other studios.
March 20 · AnnMarie E DraycottThis is a great yoga studio with a variety of classes. Street parking is easily available and it's located in a beautiful part of West Philly. I'm a long time practitioner and I've had great experiences with all the teachers and students. Everyone is down to earth, respectful, and friendly. As of this review, if you've never been to Hot Yoga Sutra, you can purchase a $75 monthly unlimited and that will stay in effect unless you cancel your monthly membership. This is an amazing deal for hot yoga compared to other studios in the area. The owner, Gerardo, is warm and welcoming, as are all the other teachers. I highly recommend checking out Hot Yoga Sutra!
January 16 · The Pragmatist"I like Hot Yoga THIS much!" "Styyyyyx... Pay attention! It's palms down to start."Studio owner Gerardo Nelson Candolino is a very thoughtful and experienced teacher, you'll find him teaching the genuine 26/2 experience in a standard 90 minute session. Catch a monthly Advanced 84 Asanas class with Jessica Joy Myers, trained with Bikram and principal teacher Emmy Cleaves three times a week until HQ's closing in 2016. You won't find a more qualified and experienced wealth of knowledge for miles around!
March 10 · Styx LattéI've had a great time so far at this studio. As a complete beginner, it's been very accessible, especially if you are used to doing other kinds of fitness activities that can be abrasive to the body but haven't done much to try to improve flexibility and bodily awareness. There are different options too depending on your vibe, from HIIT classes that will make you feel like you're in a really fun club in Miami, to a variety of yoga approaches that will calm everything down. The instructors I've encountered have been very approachable and the owner Gerardo is really nice!
