Hot 8 Yoga Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For Californians seeking a serious, yet deeply restorative, yoga practice, Hot 8 Yoga stands out as a premier destination, offering an experience that is both intensely challenging and luxuriously welcoming. Located in the bustling heart of Los Angeles, this studio has established a reputation for delivering a variety of classes in a famously heated environment, guaranteeing a profound sweat and detoxification process. The atmosphere is consistently described by local patrons as upbeat, clean, and incredibly welcoming, making it an ideal choice for everyone from absolute beginners looking to "sweat, stretch, and reset" to experienced yogis seeking advanced training.
Hot 8 Yoga's core philosophy centers on the transformative power of heat, with classes notoriously held at temperatures ranging from 105 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This intentional heat not only aids in physical detoxification but also increases flexibility, allowing for a deeper and safer stretch, which is crucial for achieving better physical and mental well-being in the demanding California lifestyle. Beyond the daily classes, the studio serves as a comprehensive yoga center, offering paths for professional development for those looking to deepen their own practice or embark on a teaching career, including specialized training and certification programs. It’s more than just a place to take a class; it’s a vibrant, friendly community where instructors are highly encouraging and dedicated to helping every client reach their fitness and wellness goals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hot 8 Yoga offers a great variety of classes in a clean, welcoming, and upbeat environment. The instructors are encouraging, the community is friendly, and the heat makes for an energizing, challenging workout. It’s a perfect spot for both beginners and experienced yogis looking to sweat, stretch, and reset.
September 17 · Joy WhymsHot 8 ticks all the boxes for me since I started it in February - and this location in KTown is my favorite. The staff are always welcoming and happy to see you, the changing rooms are nice, the studios are spacious, and there's always ample free parking in the garage (and you can walk right into the studio from the garage). And this location is my personal favorite because of the abundance of natural light. Since it's on the top floor of its building, there are floor-to-ceiling windows in both studio rooms, as well as frosted versions in the changing rooms. There is a meditation room too with big windows. A rare-ish "amenity" with LA yoga studios!
April 28 · Gretchen BetzholtzRecently hot 8 has shifted away from more traditional yoga styles to sculpt and strength. I know they are popular. They have had sculpt and barre for a while but now it seems like that’s every class available. There are SO MANY of them now, at the best times. It’s just not my thing. When I want to lift weights, I lift weights. Weights and hot room….absolutely not. The vibe is like a cycle class, so I definitely get the appeal. My thing is 26 and 2. There was a time where hot8 made a class available everyday. Now some studios have none. I know it’s coming for my beloved Koreatown location which is down to three a week. I will miss watching the trees sway in the wind after cobra pose. Some things you just can’t control. For now though if you have a chance come by and take a 26 and 2. Drink plenty of water before and don’t push yourself too hard in the beginning. This class is so powerful. The feeling after can’t be matched. The truth is if it weren’t for hot8 I never would’ve found it and for that I’m infinitely grateful.
September 13 · Max V.I tried the week of hot yoga and was sad when it finished. I ended up signing up for the membership. It’s such a great workout, the staff is so friendly and makes an effort to remember you. Highly recommend. I’ve had a great experience at every location!
September 11 · Briona BonnerI just completed my 10th class at Hot 8 Yoga, and I’m so glad I started this journey! Every instructor brings such great energy, and each class leaves me feeling stronger, more balanced, and refreshed. Highly recommend to anyone looking to build strength, sweat, and find some inner peace!
