★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Last week I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try a hot yoga class. I have never done yoga before so I knew I was in to look like a complete goofball. I was very surprised when they offered me a whole week unlimited for the price of one class so I immediately signed up. When I arrived I was greeted by a custom welcome sign which was such a cute touch! David was my tour guide and was very sweet. I will say the entrance area is right in front of the main studio so it gets crowded but they move everyone through quickly. Lockers/showers are tight but I didn’t use them. My first class was a Yin class with Elyse who was absolutely amazing. Best stretch I’ve had! My second class was a Sculpt with Bella and she kicked my butt! It was such a good workout but I’m still sore today. I ended up doing 3 classes total in my week. I don’t think I would do a membership but I will definitely be back when I need a good sweat.
March 26 · Victoria SSolid 5/5 for me! Hadn’t practiced or teached in over 5 years before Covid came through yet this place felt like home. Very friendly staff, warm welcoming vibes and clean studio with. o weird smells even though at 105F.Super cool art as you walk in and free lockers! They had a great first timers special for $35 which I’d highly recommend to take advantage of. The instructor for the Power Yoga was a spiritual sage, life coach and yoga teacher all in one. Class style was a strong mix of the Bikram 26 and 2 with some flow.My only gripe… the instructor did not check in to see if I had an injury before pushing so hard for those forward bends. I’m probably guilty of this too but her insistence on calling people out was a little off. IMO Meant to have a debrief as a courtesy but I was trying to regain my soul to body connection after that extremely intense, wildly fun and enjoyable experience. Caution on the free lockers as they do jam and mine required a separate key to reopen. All my minor gripes aside I’m super glad I found this place that reignites my love for Hot Yoga. Thanks Hot 8 Yoga for all you do, Namaste!
August 02 · V. Malcolm CopelandThe classes here are amazing—I’ve already found my favorite teachers. They’re professional, kind, and patient, and I love how they guide you while still giving space to find your own purpose in class. I also appreciate when they gently push you to your limit in such a supportive way. That said, the studio could definitely improve in cleanliness (bathrooms, rooms, even the lobby). If that was addressed, it would take the experience to another level.Overall, great classes and teachers, just hoping the space gets the same care.
September 14 · BellaMy favorite Hot 8 location, definitely, but even still, I didn't really enjoy my time here, and I say it's my favorite because the overall experience wasn't truly awful like at some of the other locations. The classes here are too loud and obnoxious, even the yin classes, and all the teachers are yelling to barely be heard over the music they're playing. I don't practice yoga so I can have music blaring in my ears, and I'm also not a fan of feeling like I've had a shower after every class and always wringing my clothes out afterwards, so if that's how it is at this brand of studio I'm not recommending it. I've been to hot yoga studios where the heat is more bearable and you can actually hear the instructors (who's don't yell), so just because it's hot yoga doesn't mean it has to be obnoxious.
September 23 · Erin J. GreenI have had a wonderful experience with Hot8Yoga so far! I initially signed up for welcome week then purchased a 5 class package. My favorite class is Hot Power Fusion! Of course it was very difficult for me when I first started but I have progressed so much! Hannah is my fav instructor for HPF. I am able to follow her flow and she’s super motivating. Yin is another fav when I’m feeling a more slower paced class as its really helpful for my mental space. All of the staff have been really friendly and helpful. I would definitely sugguest signing up for welcome week!
