FlyFaceYogaNYC Introduce
In a city that moves at the speed of light, finding a serene and sacred space to reconnect with your body and mind can feel like a genuine luxury. For New Yorkers seeking a yoga experience that is both refreshing and deeply transformative, FlyFaceYogaNYC offers a unique sanctuary in the heart of Brooklyn. This is not your typical yoga studio. It's a place where the ancient art of yoga takes flight, combining traditional principles with the playful and challenging practice of aerial yoga. The studio's name itself highlights its two unique specialties: the liberating experience of aerial yoga and the rejuvenating techniques of face yoga. It's a destination for those who want to deepen their practice, try something new, and leave feeling both energized and profoundly relaxed.
From the moment you step into the studio, you are met with an atmosphere of peace and calm. The ambiance is meticulously crafted to be a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of New York City. The space is noted for being spotlessly clean, with soft lighting, a perfect temperature, and a soothing aroma that immediately puts you at ease. This attention to detail reflects the care that the founder and lead instructor, Karlygash, puts into creating an inviting and safe environment for her students. Her passion for teaching is evident in every class, where she fosters a sense of trust and support, making the journey of self-discovery through yoga a truly joyful one.
FlyFaceYogaNYC is located at 1764 E 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11229, USA. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I booked a private aerial yoga class with Karly for my birthday, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The moment my friends and I walked into the space, we felt an immediate sense of peace and calm. The ambiance was perfect—it smelled amazing, the lighting was soft and soothing, the temperature was just right, and everything was spotless. You could tell how much care Karly put into creating an inviting, sanitized, and sacred space for us.Karly herself is an absolute gem. Warm, attentive, and incredibly detailed, she made each one of us—regardless of experience level—feel seen and supported. None of my friends had ever done aerial yoga before, but she guided us with such clarity, encouragement, and grace. She struck that rare balance of being mindful and gentle while still pushing us to explore and grow.Karly went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday, and I will never forget it. We left the class glowing, inspired, and already talking about when we’d come back. If you’re even thinking about trying aerial yoga, this is the place—and Karly is the person. Thank you so much, Karly!
July 24 · Destiny HenryI’ve practiced yoga for some time, but aerial yoga at this studio has been such a refreshing and uplifting experience. The studio is small and intimate (5 max), which makes the classes feel very personalized. Because of the size, the instructor is able to give close attention to each student, ensuring we feel safe and supported while exploring poses in the hammock. The classes are especially rewarding if you’ve done yoga before, since you can recognize familiar poses but experience them in a whole new way suspended in the air. It adds both playfulness and challenge, helping to build strength, balance, and flexibility in a fun setting. The instructor’s English isn't her first language, but she communicates with demonstrations, adjustments, and lots of encouragement. She doesn't hesitate to come and assist you if you're struggling. In fact, the simplicity makes instructions easier to follow, and you can always feel her passion and dedication to teaching. Anything you can't do certain movements, just speak up and she will say skip or give an adjusted version of it.This is a wonderful studio for yogis who want to deepen their practice, try something new, and enjoy a warm, welcoming space. I always leave class feeling both energized and deeply relaxed. Highly recommended!
August 25 · JN FiveI had a great experience! I loved the instructor and the studio. It feels really good to be suspended in the air and doing all the poses. I love yoga and I feel like this is the best type of yoga I tried so far! My back and neck pain got so much better. I look forward to come back and will bring my family and friends with me.
July 25 · LiliyaI had an incredible experience at Fly Yoga. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, and the instructor is exceptionally nice. The deep stretches during aerial yoga really helped decompress my spine and improve my flexibility. I particularly enjoyed lying down on the nail mats; It's surprisingly relaxing. The instructor's massages were divine and added to the overall soothing experience. I feel rejuvenated and more flexible after each session. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enhance their flexibility!
