★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Craig took me in at the beginning of July 2021. Beforehand, I had not ever truly trained. Despite that, Craig and everybody at the gym took the time to really work with me. Within one year at 5150, I managed to qualify for the national weightlifting championship! The results speak for themselves. With that said, the gym environment still manages to maintain a family-like atmosphere. Easy to say that this is like my second home. : )
August 22 · Martin Glenn-AdamsIt has been more than 6 years since I walked through the doors of Craig Rintoul’s 5150 Sports Performance gym, at that time a lifetime athletic person, but a novice to weightlifting and serious sports training. I felt overwhelmed at first, but Coach Craig’s passion and enthusiasm soon made me fall in love with the rigor of sports training and the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Every aspect of Craig’s coaching illustrates his deep understanding of biomechanics and training methodology. He is extremely skilled in breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, and demonstrating these concepts in ways that resonate with a person’s learning style. His detailed and consistent approach has accelerated my progress, and it is not a day that goes by that I do not learn something new.I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Coach Craig over all these years I have been training at 5150. What sets him apart is the personal attention he gives to each person who walks into his gym, cognizant of their goals, and their starting level of fitness. Craig’s knowledge base is vast, and his passion for sharing this knowledge is exemplified by the patience, dedication, and guidance he has given me over these years. This has been instrumental in transforming into the capable and confident athlete and person I am today. He has pushed me to grow both as an athlete and a person, all the while encouraging me to not put limitations on my abilities. I have now been performing and winning in national and international weightlifting meets for the past two years. It is also notable that I had complete shoulder surgery 3 years ago (for a prior Crossfit injury), and Craig was instrumental in my rehabilitation. He was there every step of the way-- I continued training at his gym after surgery, focusing on not only shoulder and mobility exercises, but many other exercises I was still capable of doing to maintain my level of fitness during the period I was unable to do Olympic lifts. I believe I would not have recovered from shoulder surgery to achieve my fitness level today if it had not been for Craig’s steadfast encouragement, assistance and his extensive knowledge of rehab exercises.Besides the physical/training aspect of the sport, Coach Craig has helped me in developing the discipline and mindset required to train, handle anxiety, and perform at a highly competitive level, while also educating me on the equally important aspects of diet, sports nutrition, rest, recovery, and meditation. Craig has always focused on developing the proper foundations for fitness, focusing on proper form and performance of exercises, and not allowing anyone to lift weights heavier than what is appropriate for their level of fitness. He is very mindful of this to minimize the risk of injury to the athlete.I wholeheartedly recommend 5150 Sports Performance to help you achieve your fitness goals, whether it is to perform/complete in a sport, recuperate from an injury or surgery, or to simply to improve your overall fitness level. I feel privileged to have Coach Craig as my coach for these past years. Craig has created a great, safe environment conducive to learning, where everyone is welcoming and supportive of one another. If any of this resonates with you, what are you waiting for?
June 11 · Dolly TrivizI started training at Fifty-One/50 several years ago on the recommendation of friend. When I met Craig he took the time to learn about my fitness past and fitness goals. He understands everyone's path and goals are different and develops a training program that's going to get you where you want to go. I love training at Fifty--One/50 and consider it my home away from home.
August 14 · Justin SchultzI compete in Olympic weightlifting and I came to Craig for rehab and strength training. What turned out to be dropping in a couple of times a week turned into becoming his full-time athlete. He helped me recover from a 4-6 month back injury. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, invested, passionate coach, look no further. Everyone that walks into his gym gets one on one coaching no matter what your sport is.
July 24 · Crystal CoppersmithGrew up working out with craig and came back when I was in college, his workout regiments and available equipment make the price worth it!
