★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The gym is busy, that's undeniable. The rock wall is only open during the week, no weekends, from 4-10. But the workers are nice. The pool has pretty restricted hours also, because Drexel S&D practices there. My partner and I try to workout outside if peak hours, but even at 7pm we can usually get a squat rack and do our lifts.
November 19 · Daniel OsborneExcellent physical fitness center - mostly for students, staff & faculty - public memberships available
April 22 · PL- CThis a really great place to work out, have a good time playing games, swimming, sitting in the corridor. It has a really good lighting suitable for any kind of work. This is the Drexel's corridor and outdoor view from here. You have Wawa, 7 Eleven, Starbucks and many other options nearby to eat.
April 26 · Romit NaharThis is definitely one of the best gyms in Philly. It has everything you could want: cardio machines, free weights and machines, an indoor track, an indoor rock wall, a pool, squash courts, and even classes and physical therapy and personal trainers.I’ve been going here more specifically for the rock wall, and it is a great place to climb. The staff is very nice and supportive if you’re a first timer, giving you tips on climbing and helping you pick out shoes that are right for you.
January 02 · JosephGreat facilities and as a Drexel dragon student am proud to be able to call this my recreational center. This gym has most everything you basically need, plus a full Olympic size pool (which I have yet to use) and a rock climbing wall (did start using). Large selection of weight machines and plenty of treadmills with a few tv’s sprinkled in with usually sports or news on. My only gripe is that it’s not 24/7 and sometimes closed for holidays. I would still probably pay to go here after graduation (hopefully soon).
