September 16 · Kyle SantiniI’m a former 24 Hour Fitness member, and unfortunately, my transition to Crunch as of May 1st has been frustrating and disappointing. 24 Hour Fitness had assured me that my membership would transfer to an “equal or greater” membership with Crunch—but that was not the case. Instead, Crunch downgraded my membership tier and is now charging me extra to access the same features I previously had.The gym is still undergoing renovations, so it doesn’t currently offer everything included in the higher-tier “Peak Results” plan I was pushed into. When I tried to cancel, I was told I had to pay the annual fee first or risk late fees and collections. Not wanting to deal with collections, I paid the fee and reluctantly upgraded to Peak Results. Yet, over a month later, my account is still showing an overdue balance, and the issue has not been resolved.As for the gym itself, it’s in a state of transition. Most of the equipment is still from 24 Hour Fitness, and while I understand new machines are on the way, the free weights area is constantly disorganized—mostly due to members not re-racking equipment.I’m hoping Crunch can sort out my account soon and follow through on the upgrades they’ve promised. If they do, I’ll gladly revise my review. But as of now, my experience has been more hassle than it’s worth.

The second floor is the main workout area and the first floor has the cycling room and teacher led gym room that can also be used as a safe space when there's no classes. They recently placed bike racks outside of the gym doors! These are simply bolted to the floor, so if you want more secure bike parking, use the dunking donuts racks that are embedded into the concrete. The only critique I have is that they've been in a BYOM (bring your own mat) policy for a month (since August 2025) which is not ideal when you don't have a mat nor are keen in carrying one everywhere. Other than that, this gym is spacious and clean, the staff are so finely and attentive, and the community is chill and keep to their own routines.

They also recently remodeled the gym and added a bunch of new equipment which is a huge plus and are only adding more ! If your looking for a new gym 10/10 highly recommend the lake Mary location!!!
