★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1And here we are, just a few days...Once again I experienced a COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE issue today that absolutely needs to be addressed. The gym opened a shocking 10 minutes late. Let me be clear: 10 minutes might not sound like much, but for those of us who schedule our workouts with precision – especially when we only have a mere 30-minute window – it's an ENORMOUS, IRRECOVERABLE CHUNK of our precious time. This isn't an isolated incident; the gym was also opened late just a few days ago, leaving many frustrated people waiting. This repeated delay felt like a blatant theft of opportunity to get a full, proper workout in. When you're desperately trying to fit exercise into an already packed schedule, every single second is critical. I understand that new operations might have "teething problems," but consistent and punctual opening times are not just fundamental; they are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to a gym's service, particularly right after opening when members are trying to establish their routines and trust in your operation.I sincerely hope this utter lack of punctuality is rectified immediately. A reliable schedule is not a luxury; it's a NECESSITY for members who are committed to making the most of their limited time. I'm looking for significant and immediate improvements in this area, as the gym otherwise has great potential that is currently being undermined by this unacceptable tardiness.
July 30 · Anna KomisI'm writing this review out of significant frustration with the inconsistent opening hours at this Crunch Gym location. The advertised opening time is 5:00 AM, but recently, there have been repeated instances of the gym opening late, or not at all, as was the case this morning (July 25, 2025).Many members, myself included, were left waiting outside past 5:30 AM, completely disrupting our morning routines and making it impossible to get our workouts in before work. This lack of reliability is a serious issue. We pay for a service that we expect to be consistently available during advertised hours. These delays are simply unacceptable. I hope management addresses this immediately and ensures the gym opens on time every day going forward. Reliability is key for gym members, and right now, it's severely lacking.
July 25 · Anna KomisI have been a member on and off for over three years. Mario was super helpful today.Trainers- they are great and just happy in general. I felt and still feel apart of the little community.Equipment- I understand the high cost of nyc limits the amount of space available. This means there are for example only one dedicated bench press, one incline chest press, and one power rack. I could see replacing the two single use equipment with power racks instead. This will allow more efficient use of the space and will satisfy the desires of more experienced lifters. I would also recommend replacing the extra chest press machines with a much more versatile piece of equipment. Versatility of the equipment makes all the difference. Even moving some of the extra treadmills for one or two more machines will also make a massive impact.Pricing - guest pass is 30$ a day compared to the one in Florida that is probably 15x the size and quality with a sauna, massage beds, cryo chambers, and three massive studios for 15$. Make changes with the quality and versatility of all the machines and begin handing out free day visits to get people to check it out.Overall- it is a gym and is good enough for me - I am 18 and a D1 football athlete
November 26 · Gustav SteffelinReasonable prices in my opinion. It was easy for me to cancel the membership when things went downward (divorce, trespasser robbed my home, etc) and exercising wasn’t going to fix those time consuming problems. But when life was simpler, crunch gyms have too many classes to offer. I recommend their HIIT, hot yoga, vinyasa, Pilates, get the all access gym pass and make the most of their sauna, private shower, secure lockers (brought my own lock too), explore everything they have to offer etc…
April 22 · Mystic IlluminationI couldn't recommend Dimitrios more. He's an outstanding personal trainer and manager. I appreciated his holistic approach to fitness, including nutrition and recovery, and really enjoyed his teaching me a new way of training (more mind-muscle connection for greater efficacy of training, subtle changes in execution that made huge differences etc). He was incrediby knowledgable, friendly and inspirational, and can really make a difference to people's lives!
