CorePower Yoga - Hollywood Introduce
Welcome to CorePower Yoga - Hollywood, a dynamic fitness hub and yoga studio nestled in the iconic heart of Los Angeles, California. In a city where wellness is a lifestyle, CorePower Yoga offers a unique and powerful blend of traditional yoga principles with a modern, fitness-focused approach. This is not just a place for quiet meditation; it's a vibrant space where you can turn stress into sweat and build physical and mental strength. The studio's energetic atmosphere is made truly special by its dedicated team of instructors. As one grateful member puts it, "I’ve had such a wonderful experience practicing yoga with this teacher. Their guidance is clear, mindful, and encouraging." Instructors like Gabriel, Che, Julia, and Dani are consistently praised for creating a safe and welcoming space where students can challenge themselves, grow, and truly connect with their body and breath.
CorePower Yoga is renowned for its diverse class offerings that go beyond the typical yoga studio experience. It’s a place where you can find a class that fits your mood and your fitness goals, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned yogi. The guidance provided is designed to be accessible to everyone, with clear and encouraging instruction that makes even complex poses feel achievable. The classes are described as "balanced—physically, mentally, and emotionally," ensuring that you leave feeling "grounded, uplifted, and inspired." The studio also extends its support to those who are new to the practice, with instructors who are dedicated to helping and guiding beginners. The community within the studio is also a major highlight; members feel the positive energy and appreciate the welcoming and supportive environment that encourages personal growth without judgment.
While the in-studio experience is consistently a top highlight, a common piece of advice from local users concerns the location and logistics. The studio is located in a bustling part of Hollywood, and as one reviewer wisely noted, "Parking is tricky." They suggest a practical solution: "parking in the residential parking off La Brea and Hawthorne and walking 1 block to avoid dumb Hollywood parking structure fees." This kind of local knowledge is invaluable for a smooth and stress-free visit. Despite the urban setting, the studio itself is a beautiful, clean, and spacious space, which is a major plus for a comfortable workout.
CorePower Yoga - Hollywood is more than just a studio; it is a supportive community and a "Transgender safespace," which is also "LGBTQ+ friendly," making it a truly inclusive place for everyone. The studio's commitment to creating a welcoming environment is a testament to its core values. It's a place where you can feel confident and comfortable in your own skin, building strength and finding joy through movement.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Thank you so much for good experience instructor’s Gabriel, Che, Julia, Dani. I’ve had such a wonderful experience practicing yoga with this teacher. Their guidance is clear, mindful, and encouraging. Every class feels balanced — physically, mentally, and emotionally. They create a safe and welcoming space where I can challenge myself, grow, and truly connect with my body and breath. I always leave the class feeling grounded, uplifted, and inspired. Truly grateful for their energy and presence. Thanks for the support and help for beginners. I highly recommend these instructor’s classes and this studio☺️
August 04 · Yuliia BelleLove this CPY. The instructors are always super good and I feel amazing after. Parking is tricky. Attached a photo I took from the studio, but suggest parking in the residential parking off La Brea and Hawthorne and walking 1 block to avoid dumb Hollywood parking structure fees
February 18 · Ava MahdaviWould have loved to join this studio but the “validation” for parking still costs you $1.50 and its only for only 90 minutes. If you want to shower after class or double up on classes its going to cost you even more. I cant believe they would expect us to pay for parking like that, and why even offer showers if theres no time to use them? With how much membership costs, there should be at minimum a 2 hour free validation, like any other studio in the area. Its a shame because their classes and facilities are really nice.
December 19 · Natasha CollierI used to love corepower but their prices are going up and the return is going down. They validate for parking but it still costs you $1.50 (for only 90 minutes), which if you're going regularly adds up and means you dont have time to shower. They pack you in like sardines so especially during full classes its hard not to accidentally hit your neighbor. Additionally, the cleanliness of the studio has been slowly declining, which you'd think with how much membership is they could at least keep the facilities clean and not rely on the teachers to quickly mop down the studio between classes.Towel and mat rentals are a whopping $4 even if you're paying for a full membership because they haven't milked you enough I guess. And lastly, teachers aren't even doing hands on assists anymore like they used to. Sometimes they will ask at the top of class if people would prefer not to have assists, but then i will never see them help a students form even if they are clearly struggling. Might as well do a youtube class at that point. Hot 8, Y7, Trufusion, Urban 728 are all cheaper options with free parking and cleaner amenities.
February 05 · Joe AvenueI love this corepower and the teachers are all great. Sometimes it is very hard to hear the instructor over the loud music, making it hard to follow along to the workout. The microphone / speaker in studio 2 has been broken all month which is the main reason for this problem. Would love for this to get fixed soon!!
