Club Pilates Introduce
For residents in the Phoenix area, particularly those in the Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale regions, finding a fitness studio that combines a challenging workout with a supportive community is a top priority. Club Pilates, located on Tatum Boulevard, is a premier destination that has built its reputation on the transformative power of reformer Pilates. The studio's philosophy is centered on providing a welcoming and effective full-body, low-impact workout that is accessible to people of all fitness levels. As one satisfied client noted after her first class, she was met with "amazing" instruction and a "sweet" front desk staff, highlighting the positive and friendly environment that is a core part of the Club Pilates experience.
However, as with any large franchise, the experience can vary, and it is important for local users to be aware of both the positive and negative aspects. While many praise the quality of the classes and the welcoming staff, some have expressed frustration with the corporate side of the business. A long-time member shared a detailed account of a negative experience with membership management, citing a feeling of being "lied to and disrespected" after a miscommunication about a frozen membership. This review, which highlights a conflict between a local staff member's promise and a broader corporate policy, serves as a valuable reminder for prospective members to clarify all terms and conditions of their memberships in writing. Despite this, the reviewer also noted the quality of the workouts themselves and the positive experiences with instructors, suggesting that the day-to-day class experience remains a high point for many. This combination of dedicated instructors and a well-structured class format is what ultimately keeps many people coming back.
Club Pilates is conveniently located at 10633 N Tatum Blvd #102, Phoenix, AZ 85028. This address places it in a highly accessible spot for residents in the Paradise Valley and North Phoenix communities. The studio is situated in a commercial plaza on the northeast corner of Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road, a busy and familiar intersection for locals. Its proximity to major roadways and a variety of other businesses makes it easy to integrate a class into a daily routine, whether you're heading home from work or running errands. The plaza offers ample parking, which is a significant convenience and removes the stress of a time-consuming search before a class. This central location helps Club Pilates serve as a community hub for wellness, drawing members from across the region who are looking for a high-quality Pilates experience.
The accessibility of the studio's location is a key factor in its appeal, allowing for consistent attendance and making it a practical choice for locals. The physical space is also an important part of the experience. As a studio focused on group classes, the layout is optimized for the reformer machines and the flow of the workouts. The inviting and well-maintained environment is a core part of the premium feel that draws people to the Club Pilates brand. For locals, this means a clean, professional, and easily accessible place to focus on their health and fitness goals.
Club Pilates offers a wide variety of services designed to cater to different fitness goals and experience levels, all centered around the reformer machine.
Reformer Flow: The signature class is a full-body workout that strengthens and lengthens the entire body. These classes creatively flow between the reformer, springboard, EXO-Chair, and other equipment to ensure a varied and engaging workout every time.
Cardio Sculpt: This high-energy, low-impact class uses the jumpboard on the reformer to facilitate plyometric movements. It provides a great cardio workout that is gentle on the joints, perfect for those looking to torch calories without the high-impact stress.
Center + Balance: A class that focuses on light movement and deep, apparatus-assisted stretching. It is designed to re-center and balance the body, leaving you feeling long, loose, and ready for whatever the day brings.
Control: This class is designed to challenge the body with more complex movements and a faster pace. It focuses on strength, balance, and stability and is intended for those with a solid foundation in Pilates.
Restore: A one-of-a-kind class that combines reformer movements with TriggerPoint™ Therapy myofascial release. It is designed to repair muscles and joints, increase performance, and reduce the risk of injury.
With multiple levels available for many of these classes, from Foundation (Level 1) for beginners to Mastery (Level 2.5) for advanced practitioners, the studio ensures that everyone can find a class that is both safe and challenging.

May 29 · rivers finneyTLDR: This studio's main priority is making money however they can vs retaining long-term members. After a couple years of membership here I feel lied to and disrespected- will be taking my business to another studio in the area.Full story: I was a member at this studio for a couple years and had to freeze my membership due to pregnancy. After awhile I got tired of paying the $25/month freeze fee and decided it would be more worthwhile to cancel my membership and rejoin when I was ready vs keep paying the monthly fee. I called the studio and left a message and never heard back. I ended up texting a number that I had used for the studio previously and was finally able to get a response. The person I spoke to convinced me to keep my membership frozen stating that they would waive the monthly "freeze fee". I then asked for clarification about whether or not the membership would automatically reactivate or whether they would be flexible on this as well. I have a text from her verbatim stating "Yes. We will be very flexible :) I don't want you to have to go through the hassle of resigning up". So I thought everything was sorted out and we were on the same page. A month after giving birth I noticed a $199 charge on my credit card so I called the studio to get it resolved since I was not ready to unfreeze the membership. The person I spoke with stated that they have a policy where the membership would reinstate after 4 months and "didn't you get the email?" No, I didn't I just figured the text exchange I had with the other employee was something that I could trust. Because of this I decided to cancel my membership completely and plan to join another studio when I am ready like Reformed Pilates in PV. I am so disappointed that they would rather grab the $199 fee from me vs keep me as a long term member as I was planning to reactivate in January. The studio now feels very corporate, untrustworthy, and like a quick money grab is valued more than creating a studio where members are at the center.
December 16 · Emily CarpioI absolutely LOVE Club Pilates PV! If you’re looking for a small group (no more than 12 people per class), fun yet challenging format- this is it! This studio has an amazing front desk staff that can answer all your questions and are always there to welcome you with a smile. And the instructors are fabulous! Very detailed and extremely encouraging! You WILL work every muscle in your body, plus stretch and work on balance, flexibility and core strength! I can’t say enough about the PV crew! They’re AMAZING!!!
November 03 · Shari MartensenI love coming here. Great mix of classes and instructors. I go 5x a week and really love it. The staff is friendly and the manager is very welcoming. It's also great for people who aren't hardcore exercise nuts. I never feel intimated by who's on the next carriage over.EDIT: Unfortunately, almost all the studios in the Valley were bought by the same company and it's been a change for the worse. Their new policies are disrespectful to the instructors and have resulted in some of the best managers, front desk staff, and instructors leaving. For instance, they charge members a $15 no show or late cancellation fee. Fair enough. However, they now only pay instructors for the number of ppl who show up. This policy provides no incentive for ownership to ensure ppl show up because they make more money when ppl don't. It's gross being in class, seeing empty reformers, and knowing the instructor is being penalized while ownership makes more profit. It's not like they provide any additional support, e.g. reminder texts like my brow/lash place. It's just a money grab. They also have instructors clock in like they're working at a factory or fast food place instead of what's really a luxury destination for ppl who pay a couple hundred bucks a month for a gym membership. It's changed the whole vibe and cost them their best instructors. I might be looking to move on myself once a new studio opens up closer to home. It's so disappointing to have to write this.
July 12 · Dory EdwardsI’ve had a great experience at Club Pilates so far. I’ve been going for three months and everyone has been so professional. All the instructors (I’ve had four or five) have been excellent. Very knowledgeable and challenging. Gorgeous, clean studio.
