Cardio Barre Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Cardio Barre in Valley Village, California, is a dedicated gym and physical fitness program that has carved out a unique niche in the competitive Los Angeles fitness landscape. Created by dancer and choreographer Richard Giorla, the facility focuses on a signature, high-energy, no-impact workout designed to sculpt the body, build endurance, and create a long, lean physique. This is a crucial distinction for many California residents—especially those with joint concerns or past injuries—who seek an intense, calorie-burning workout without the pounding often associated with traditional aerobics or high-impact training.
The core philosophy of Cardio Barre stems from classical dance training, where the focus is on developing a strong core muscle as the center of the body's support system. The workouts combine elements of barre work, light weights, and floor exercises, utilizing small, precise, high-repetition movements to fatigue and strengthen muscles without adding bulk. The studio offers a variety of class formats, from its core Cardio Barre® class to specialized fusion workouts, catering to both beginners and advanced students in the San Fernando Valley.
The program provides flexibility through both onsite services and online classes, acknowledging the diverse lifestyles of Los Angeles users. While the instruction is led by solid, professionally trained dancers, it is important for prospective clients to note that classes can move quickly, and beginners may need to be proactive about seeking adjustments and assistance to master the art form's precise execution.

What is worth choosing
Cardio Barre is worth choosing for California residents who are done with generic gym routines and require a specialized fitness program that marries the elegance of dance with the intensity of a powerful workout. If your goals include achieving a long, lean physique, improving posture, and increasing muscular endurance while minimizing strain on your joints, this studio provides the ideal solution.
It is the perfect fit for anyone seeking high-energy, low-impact cardio. The system, developed by Richard Giorla, is backed by decades of dance expertise, offering a structured, professional, and effective path to fitness. The studio’s commitment to providing both onsite classes and an extensive on-demand library means you have ultimate flexibility to stay consistent, regardless of your busy Los Angeles schedule.
Potential clients should, however, be prepared to be proactive about communication and class clarification, especially regarding promotional package details, as administrative consistency has been cited as a concern in the past. Focus on the quality of the Aerobics and Barre instruction itself, which is largely well-regarded, and take advantage of the private lesson options if you desire more hands-on, individualized form correction, particularly as a beginner.

Cardio Barre Reviews
I like the place where I live because is of lots fun and we going have a big party so you can see i am busy talking
August 30 · Elvonzo AdamsAfter having a positive experience at Richard Giorla's Hiit!! Gym, my friend and I thought we would try his cardio barre establishment, Cardio Barre. We purchased their in-house version of the Groupon deal, 5 classes for about $35-$40 (I can't remember exactly). Again, we purchased the classes via their front desk employee so there was no fine print, all that was said was that we had a year to use to classes and to "enjoy". My friend and I continued to go to classes, albeit neither one of us really liked the classes, but hey, we paid for them, might as well give it the full try and once we were out, we'd move on to something else. Not every workout is meant for everyone. I will say this, the teachers are solid dancers, but not the best at teaching their art form (again, this is totally ok...teaching and doing are very different) if you're a beginner it's hard to really know what is going on because the teachers do not make a point to adjust or assist. I only went to beginner classes so i could not speak to all classes. However, that is not my issue with this establishment. My issue is that, the staff was a mixture of extremely rude, they lacked consistency and communication. After a few classes in I couldn't remember if we were on class 3 or 4 and wanted to double check how many classes we had left. I called the front desk, and spoke to one of the employees and they let me know that we in fact were on class 3 and we had 2 left. I asked when the classes expired and the employee told me that they expired on 11/8/19 -- not a year as previously quoted. When we arrived to our 4th class, I mentioned it my friend who was also told we had a year to use them, we asked the front desk employee if she could clarify - she looked up our accounts, and let us know that whoever sold us the packages sold them as a regular class package at the Groupon price which is why there was confusion, however, as it was - our passes were good for a year and that they would honor it. A day later, I get an email from Cardio Barre stating that my last pass was about to expire on 11/8/19.SO, I call AGAIN -- to clarify when my actual expiration date was. As I was about to leave town I wanted to make sure I could use my last class. I left a voicemail and when I got a call back on 10/31 an extremely rude woman was on the other line. When I explained the situation again, her first response was that I should have read the fine print. When I reiterated how I bought the classes, she sighed and said that it was common knowledge that Groupon classes were not the same as actual class packages. After I mentioned that I bought it at the studio and the information that I had was all given by their staff - she cut me off and said that she would extend my package this one time so that I could use it, then hung up on me before I could say anything else.Between the constant back and forth regarding our class packages, rude conduct, and so-so classes neither my friend or I went back to claim and use the last class. The reason why I gave it 2 stars was because Courtney and Christina were good class leaders.
