★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The Brooklyn area locations are always very accommodating and cool. The vibe altogether is just legit. The gym attendants are always warm and welcoming, which is a rarity compared to the Queens locations. I've actually had some good talks with many of the other gym goers here, I just dig the whole atmosphere, this is that type of gym I like the energy of.That said the gym itself is decent. Can't call it perfect because I noticed the lack of one of my favorite machines, the ab press machine, but other than that, there were a good number of many other machines and they were all in working order. It's a two floor gym with the first of the floors being kinda narrow with a few treadmills and the locker room area and the upper floor is more or less the main one with a good view of outside of the gym. Pretty decent location that I'll be around more often.
March 10 · Sledge WilliamsHere’s a polished draft of your review—firm, detailed, and professional while still strongly negative:I have been a long-standing member of Blink Fitness in Bed-Stuy, and the customer service here continues to be appallingly poor. This morning was yet another example of how little respect this location shows its members.Without warning, Blink switched its check-in process and required every patron to download and register on the app before being allowed inside. At 5 a.m., this created a long, unnecessary line of frustrated members—many of us losing valuable workout time. When several of us asked why there had been no prior communication, the manager brushed us off with a smile and simply said there were “signs.” That answer is unacceptable. This is a gym with a front desk staff whose entire job includes greeting and checking in members. A simple, proactive statement like, “Starting next week, you’ll need to use the app to sign in,” would have avoided this chaos entirely. The worst part was not the disruption itself, but the dismissive and condescending attitude of the manager. His rudeness was completely unprofessional and reflective of the poor training and culture Blink seems to tolerate. This is not a one-off experience either—this kind of tone and behavior is consistent at this location.Yes, Blink is a lower-cost gym, but that does not excuse “sorry customer service.” Members deserve basic communication and respect. Unfortunately, because this is the only gym within walking distance in my neighborhood, I am stuck here for convenience. Otherwise, I would take my business elsewhere in a heartbeat.Would you like me to make this punchier for Yelp/Google reviews (shorter, sharper, more impactful) or keep it more formal and detailed for something like an email complaint to corporate?
August 20 · Jocelynne RaineyI was recruited and told that I can just “try out the gym” I signed up for the NO COMMITMENT plan. I tried the gym and hated it. Fast forward the gym decided that it would be a great idea to charge me an additional 7-8 months and send the payment to collections. I had absolutely no idea I even owed anything because I was told that there was no commitment. This gym is committing fraud and scamming people into signing up.
August 20 · SeeWriting a new review because maybe someone will see it and actually assist. There are no low level weights in this gym. I am attempting to do a Pilates workout and I can’t get a sound answer about getting 1,3,5,8 lbs weights. Feels like this gym is very sexist and is only for big muscle guys that want to lift 20lbs +up. I’ve even asked the manager and head of personal training if I can Amazon over the weight for the other women and older people to enjoy, but literally no response. This makes no sense, gyms should be inclusive and for literally something that cost $30 on Amazon, I’m sure you would make a lot of your customers feel supported when they are trying to make a consistent decision to support their health. So don’t respond to this comment without responding to my several emails please.
