Basic Barbell Training Reviews
Jen is a knowledgable, adaptable, dynamic trainer and her workouts reflect that! She’s super easy to communicate with and very supportive, but never loses sight of your goals and keeps pushing you forward. Even when I broke my foot, she didn’t sideline me, instead she kept me in the gym and just tailored my workouts accordingly. I haven’t achieved my goals yet, but I know I will with Jen by my side. I’m so thankful I found her... She’s the best!
February 13 · Jane and Ryan CumminsIn the almost 5 years I have been working with Jen I have learned more about the importance of fortitude, pushing out of your comfort zone, and falling in love with the iron than I ever thought possible. Every workout leaves me sore for days but that what I cherish the most. If you’re looking for someone to baby you Jens not that coach. If you’re looking for someone who is going to push you, train you, teach you, equip you with life long knowledge, and teach you to love yourself and the power that comes with being under the barbell, and hold you accountable Jen is in fact that coach. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!
February 12 · Joselyn MartinoJen has been life changing for my body, mind, and health. I have worked with her for 3 years and she has adapted to the different stages of my life I’ve been able to dedicate to training - she embraces lifelong changes rather than simple fixes! Her collaborative approach with fitness and nutrition has taught me what my body needs to perform, heal, and grow.
September 01 · Kate CrawfordI work in landscaping and before i joined Basic Barbell Training, lifting 50lb bags were a challenge. I also had lower back spasms due to an injury in HS. Jen helped me rehab my back by challenging me to strengthen my form and core. It has been over a year since I’ve had a back spasm and I can now lift 50lb bags at work with ease. Thank you Jen for your hard work and putting up with my complaining.
February 12 · John BillingsJen added over 200ibs to my squat in just over a month. I feel stronger, healthier and happier since I started training with her. Cannot recommend her highly enough!!
