★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great studio that I can tell - had my first class and it was spot on. Instructor was good, little bit of assistance, nice flow. The room was very warm with the radiators but I didn’t mind it. Love that they have mats and props for you so you don’t have to carry through the city. I’d definitely recommend and hope to head back again soon.
November 16 · B ESimply the best yoga studio around, and I have tried a lot. I started coming here to help me cope with a head injury and have deepened my yoga practice so quickly since starting here just 4 months ago, that I can hardly believe some of the things my body can do now. Truly expert teachers guiding you in a beautiful, serene space.
April 27 · Kruti MehtaMy favorite place to practice 🙏 Next level teaching with a serene environment and breathtaking space to move and congregate. This isn’t just a yoga studio, it’s a sanctuary for peaceful people in the heart of NYC. Go be transformed—Your heart will thank you.💜🦚🪈
May 28 · Alia CarangeloJust left another wonderful vinyasa class at Yogamaya. They have fantastic teachers, a gorgeous, super clean space, a welcoming community, and the staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. I love that they do things outside of vinyasa classes, like a restorative yoga nidra with guided meditation, and a sound bath (pictured below). I look forward to seeing more of those workshops. Overall if you live/work in Chelsea/Flatiron/Union Square you should 100% make this your go-to studio, and even if you don’t (I live in Brooklyn) make it your studio. Your body/mind/spirit will thank you.
January 05 · Nicole AsavaI was really looking forward to trying this studio, but unfortunately, I had a frustrating experience. I arrived a few minutes late and they refused to let me join the class. Nowhere on ClassPass did it state that there was a strict cut-off time. I understand the importance of punctuality, but clear policies should be communicated upfront, especially for new visitors. It felt unnecessarily rigid, and I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility.
