★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love this little corner of self care. It is truly a huge component in my effort to maintain good mental health in a otherwise quite demanding life! The diversity of classes, affordability, ethical business model, social justice engagement are huge plus for me, but the variety of teachers is what really helped me make this place mine, finding my right class (depending on the week and how I feel). I am beyond grateful that this place exists in my neighborhood.
September 07 · Daniela GrecoGreat studio that give tons of options for finding your own practice. Unlike more corporate yoga studio that pre-package standard flows (which has its proponents), Yoga District cultivates a quiver of individual teachers of diverse backgrounds and training so you can find any class that serves your overall style, or needs for that particular day.The studios (I practiced at the Glover Park and Dupont locations) are intimate yet inviting. Teacher were super friendly and knowledgeable. I also was very impressed with their commitment to using natural and sustainable cleansers, towels, and mats. This will be my yoga home when I come back to DC to visit family.
