★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1First the bare facts: I signed up for class via Classpass. I am 14 weeks pregnant. The instructor did not allow me to take class because I am pregnant. For context, I am barely out of my first trimester, not showing, and told her only because she asked me if I had anything going on with my body. I am a regular solidcore attendee, a Peloton fanatic, and generally fit with no complications. She kicked me out of an (empty) class and told me I had to take a $90 prenantal private before taking any classes. Meanwhile, I was literally the only student in class. They then reported me as missing to Classpass, resulting in a charge of $31 to my account.Second the commentary: Wundabar you should be unbelievably ashamed of yourselves. It's hard enough to get yourself out of bed 14 weeks pregnant and to an early morning workout class. But to do that, only to be discriminated against by the instructor and refused to be allowed to take class, is unconscionable. Of course, it's even more hysterical because I was the only person in class- no one else had shown up! I could have had my unneeded prenatal private right then. But apparently your business model is inconspicuously up-charging pregnant women. No wonder you have no other customers. You are a discriminatory and corrupt business and should be shut down. And by the way, after I got kicked out of an empty Pilates class, I went home and took a 30 minute peloton ride followed by 30 minutes of lifting heavy weights. And yes, I kicked ass. And yes, I did so despite being pregnant. And yes, it was a better workout than I'm sure I would have had with Wundabar.
March 30 · Claire BranchThis studio should not allow you to book on ClassPass if you’re going to turn folks away. I have taken hundreds of reformer and mega former classes and booked a class through ClassPass but was turned away because I’d never attended Wundabar before. If this is your policy do not make the class available to be booked on ClassPass! Terrible experience
June 07 · Venice PatrieLaura is a gem, and I loved tonight’s class led by her. She was super attentive and has a positive, joyful disposition. I appreciated that she coached me and the other ladies in the class through some corrections and modifications. I’ve been to this WundaBar location a few times before, but tonight was my first time taking one of Laura’s classes. I’ll definitely be back, and hope to have her as an instructor again!
October 09 · Crystal B.Love this place! Have taken a number of classes here with different instructors. The workout is def challenging but rewarding - highly recommend trying it out! If you’ve done reformer Pilates before, the class is pretty intuitive to follow. Also as other reviews have noted, be sure to bring grip socks!
October 16 · Vivian ChenFrankie is a fantastic instructor! I highly recommend taking one of her classes!
