Westwood Pilates Reviews
My husband and I have been coming to Westwood Pilates for the last five years. After recovering from a hamstring surgery I was looking for a place to rehab and get stronger overall. It was at a neighborhood urban fair on Pico Boulevard where we ran across their booth. Daniela invited us to check out their place. We did.The studio was bright, clean, and filled with brand new, first-rate equipment. We signed up for once a week sessions. All of the Pilates instructors "made" the experience. They track your progress and when you're ready, they introduce more and more challenges as you go. Now we're doing twice a week sessions. Clearly, we have noticed real positive body and mental changes. I'm sure it was a result of the excellent personal attention and professional instruction we received from everybody at Westwood Pilates.
December 04 · Rickey AckermanI am lucky enough to learn Pilates and practice with THE BEST classical Pilates studio! I have been practicing at Westwood Pilates for about 7 years. You will learn from teachers who trained directly with teachers whom were trained by Pilates himself. You learn what Pilates really is (focus on connection and movement)! I have gained so much strength not only in my core but in my entire body connection. I think I might have even grown a couple of inches (ok - probably not, but you will feel like it)! This studio is where you will learn from the best, take classes with people all over the world and enjoy the amazing Pilates community.
August 12 · Heather McFarlaneIf you have ever considered Pilates, I strongly recommend Westwood Pilates. The instructors are at the top of their game, and honestly love Pilates and working with clients. I have taken lessons with Daniela for years, and she will teach you the principles of Pilates and how it can change your body. I have also taken lessons/classes with Pamela and Chanda, and they are also incredible instructors. The studio is a comfortable place to work out and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Pilates is not inexpensive but is really the only workout that has made a difference for me.
October 06 · Amy EdgingtonPamela is a remarkable teacher. I have been taking Pilates classes in the LA area for over a decade and she is one of the finest teachers I have had the opportunity to work with. She has an incredible eye and her attention to detail is quite amazing. Her adjustments are precise and done in a kind manner which is greatly appreciated during her challenging sequencing. I highly recommend her!
August 28 · Joslyn HitterI has always bee interested in trying pilates but was intimidated to try. So I was so happy when I found Westwood Pilates. It has been the perfect place to learn the foundations of pilates. I've been going for over two years now and couldn't be happier with my experience -- it is THE place to learn classical pilates. All the trainers and clients are friendly, creating a supportive community environment; they also have a great mix of private and group classes making it easy to maintain your routine throughout the week. If you're interested in learning pilates, look no further!
