V Power Yoga Reviews
I love Lisa (I had taken a dozen and half classes with her) but due to schedule change, wanted to start going on Sunday mornings with Sally. I came in and she let me into the studio and turned her heels without even introducing herself. I walked into a jam-packed studio (with 8 to 10 maskless people) during a time when I do not want to be exposed to Covid. I park my mat in the front (last spot) and Sally stands at the front and proceeds to command the room on the flow, without joining us. I enjoy when the instructors can SHOW the students the correct moves, instead of berating and insulting people who mess up after the fact. I found her to be extremely controlling and judgmental (it is important and safe to practice good form, but she would demand adjustments over the tiniest things and repeat herself until you did them). I got into yoga to help with vertigo that I have had since a horrible ear infection from childhood. I am not a perfectionist - I listen to my body, and don't appreciate people who tell me to go against that intuition. I felt that her professionalism lacked, as evident by her apparent arrogance and sarcasm (she called the front wall the "Upper Wall" and mocked people for not knowing what she meant), and I never heard her compliment or mention "good job" to absolutely anyone in the class. Lastly, a camera woman went around the class taking photos - no explanation was given, and no one asked for my permission to be photographed. At the end of the day, I am happy that this was not my first yoga experience, because it would have ruined Yoga for me. Because this is was my last class from my package, I will now be looking elsewhere.
December 06 · C KI'm a flight attendant and happened to have a long layover in Columbus, Ohio. I decided to try getting back into yoga because my girlfriends back home just opened a studio and kept pushing me to get back into it because of all the benefits. My instructor was Jill Endres and she was absolutely fabulous! Honestly, I'm not the most in shape person and after ten minutes of Mixed yoga, I mentally wanted to give up but her teaching kept me going! Her yoga instructions were extremely thorough and kept pushing me to stick with it. She would go into difficult poses but explain the easier poses for beginners like me. She was excellent at being an instructor for all audiences not just the hardcore yogis. I felt so good after her class that I'm looking forward to my next yoga class anywhere in the world! Because of V Power Yoga and Jill, I don't mind a long layover in Columbus! Please disregard any negative reviews about the music of all things, the music was upbeat and fun!
May 20 · Abby WhittemoreClearly this is a very popular yoga studio. I have the phone number listed on Google for this studio and get constant phone calls for yoga classes. Hopefully the phone number can be updated so these future clients can get in touch with the studios correct phone number.
June 29 · Julianne McConegheyAs a first timer, this was a wonderful experience! Everyone was welcoming, the instructor was very helpful and I got in a great practice. I will most certainly be coming back again at least weekly.
August 20 · Lindsay Karas Stencelpop music way too loud and the instructor SCREECHED--painful dog hearing range. Repetitive mindnumbing sequences in body dangerous patterns. Set a new record low for studios
