I’m just shy of 70, and probably at least 20 years older than anyone else in the class, so there are activities which have to be modified for me. The coaches do this gently and respectly, adjusting to my limits (and everyone else’s), while pushing just hard enough. I’ve lost 12 lbs and built up muscle in six months. (See pic.) II normally go three times a week because it’s fun and I see real progress. Coach Marcus is inspirational!

It is a financial and mental (of course physical) investment, and the group sessions and coaches make it more than worth it. Urban grind occasionally offers scholarships for those less financially stable, and I was able to partake in the 6-week program thanks to these scholarships! The group sessions have always been motivating, especially seeing beginners, advanced, and those needing accommodations. I have chronic back pain, and the coaches have been attentive to assisting my personal needs.
