★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dropped in here for a week while at a conference. It was great location, solid equipment, easy to get setup, very reasonable rate, unlimited access. All the staff were helpful and knowledgeable even if I was just doing my open program during open gym. Highly recommend! (Thanks for your hospitality UA.)
August 02 · Lane HayesI flew into DC for a week and was looking for a place to train. I contacted the Urban Athletic Club. They were extremely responsive and professional. They worked a deal for the week and gave me a code to train whenever I was able. I was in the gym every single day of my trip. It is empty or only a few clients 90% of the time. It's a dungeon where you can train the way you want. It's freaking fantastic. 8 squat racks plus all the Rogue bars you could imagine. Just look at the pictures... Drop your gym, join the Urban Athletic Club!
July 08 · Justin HeplerIf you’re considering joining: don’t think about it—jump in. The trainers are top notch and the community is incredibly welcoming. UAC can be a place to hone in on your own routine, or it can be a place to meet new people sharing common fitness goals. UAC does both very well.Every trainer is incredibly professional, and the programming is very thoughtful. You can easily thread your own goals and routines with the daily classes.I’ve always gone to traditional gyms and this was my first experience with this type of gym. I’m hooked, never going back to an old school gym.
June 17 · Pete ZimmermanI’ve tried many studios/gyms in DC over the years, but Urban Athetic stands out in so many ways. It’s a balance of focusing on health, improving your strength to new records, and creating a sense of community. The coaches are super supportive and experienced on accommodating everyone’s needs. I’m very happy at Urban, and highly recommend.
August 08 · e carvalhoDropped by today since I'm in town for a conference. Price is reasonable and the man I spoke to was friendly/courteous, gym has sufficient equipment (CrossFit oriented, don't expect stuff like cable machines and you'll be fine). Didn't use the showers but they're there! Would recommend, will be going there for the rest of the week so if you don't hear any updates, all is well.
