This unique combination sets it apart from traditional studios, providing a comprehensive path to a more resilient, strong, and flexible body. The core philosophy is centered on the metaphor of bamboo—rather than becoming strong and rigid, the goal is to become resilient, strong, and bendable all at once.

The sense of community is strong, and many members have found not only physical strength and flexibility but also new skills and friendships. The teachers are consistently praised for being "the bomb" and for their ability to make each class fun and inviting.
What truly makes this studio special is its innovative curriculum, which goes beyond typical yoga classes. The movement training provides a natural link between the different types of full-body workouts, such as yoga, CrossFit, and Pilates. The founder, Dave, is singled out in reviews for doing an "awesome job of introducing you to the concepts and making it accessible for all." This blend of traditional practice with functional movement principles is what makes The Yoga & Movement Training Center a destination for those looking to expand their body awareness and their fitness regime in a unique and holistic way.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great place to add to expand your body awareness and fitness regime. The yoga is top notch but the movement classes are something special and different. The movement classes provide the natural link and application off most of the all of the other full body workouts out there (yoga, CrossFit, Pilates, etc.). Dave does an awesome job of introducing you to the concepts and making it accessible for all. Definitely get out there and move.
May 24 · Chris LauffThis is the best yoga studio I have ever been to! l signed up for my first class almost two years ago and have been going here virtually every week since, multiple times a week. Dave is the bomb and all the other teachers I've had since I started coming here make each class fun, inviting and a total judge-free zone. I genuinely love coming here every week. I have gained not only strength and flexibility, but yoga knowledge, new skills and even some friends! I highly recommend this studio to both new students and yoga masters alike.
July 07 · Gina VilleccoI've been coming here for about 7 months and love it. Very welcoming, all levels of skill. All the instructors give alternative movement options so beginners can participate and get the most out of every class. I started coming for back and neck pain and it has helped immensely.
