What makes The Sweatbox a place worth choosing for your fitness and training needs? It's our dedication to providing a specialized and accessible environment for athletic development. A reviewer, who was initially hesitant due to "bad reviews," found that the "place was clean, secure with a code to enter and 24hrs," and that the "half court and the rim is adjustable." This highlights our gym's key selling points: security, convenience, and a well-equipped space for basketball. Our focus on basketball, from youth classes to advanced Vertimax training, sets us apart from traditional gyms. We are a resource for the serious athlete and a great place for casual players to improve their game. However, it is important for potential customers to be aware of the contrasting reviews regarding the cleanliness and condition of the facility. While some may have a positive experience, another reviewer described the place as "absolutely disgusting and dangerous," citing issues like exposed electrical wires, giant holes in the wall, and unsanitary restrooms. These concerns are serious and should be considered by anyone before visiting. It is crucial to manage expectations and, as one customer suggested, to "go look for yourself" to determine if the current conditions meet your standards. We strive to be a place where our website's photos and in-person experience align for all customers. For those seeking a specialized, 24-hour training facility with a focus on basketball and athlete performance, The Sweatbox provides a unique set of services.

March 02 · Elias SantiagoTerrible, awful establishment!! My son's basketball coach booked this place for practice. The place was absolutely disgusting and dangerous! There were exposed electrical wires which my son and multiple siblings of the team almost touched. There were giant holes in the wall with insulation hanging out. The court was very dirty and slippery with a fine layer of dust all over it. The back part of the half court had an approximately 2 foot drop off that the kids were falling off and were very lucky to not sustain more serious injuries. The bathroom was the most unsanitary place I have ever paid to be at. The toilet wouldnt flush and was full of urine with flies circling it. The lid was off of it and obviously no one had done any cleaning in a long time. There was no toilet paper, toilet seat covers or paper towels. There was NO SOAP!!! The owner was aggressive with the siblings of the kids who were practicing and aggressive with the parents!!! I 100% would and will never give my money to this establishment again! The photos on their website do not match what you will experience in real life... see pictures below they speak for themselves
August 14 · Heather DavisThe business owner stopped responding to me and i was bor able to rent a court. Very unprofessional. I would rate it lower if I could
July 25 · Jason SaucedoBad business owner. Not responding message and provide false or misleading information/advertisement to children who need basketball courts and all she wants is money. Please do not go and never talk to this woman. I work with lots of reputable NBA basketball players directly on marketing side, and we were organizing a basketball camp. The woman named Amber lied to me on the numbers of the court, and then I found out it will not fit our kids number. We immediately requested refund within 2 hours of booking in March, the camp is supposed to be in July. Owner agreed to refund then she said she will wait the transaction to be posted so she could request refund (we have all the text messages) We waited for two days and she disappeared. Never responded to us, and I am still working with bank to get the money back. This woman is absolutely dishonest and no shame on milking kids’ money. Avoid this place as much as possible. Two days ago I found another transaction is being processed by this place
May 24 · coral luIf I could give this lady no stars I would! When I say this is the most unprofessional money hungry business woman I’ve ever dealt with! Amber is rude, doesn’t communicate, lies. She just takes your money and then doesn’t help you after that. She literally communicates with me perfectly fine up until she got paid. Then it’s, “im out of town” or no answering of my phone calls, doesn’t text back. But wants to be very responsive about some money. The hoop has been broke for the last month she won’t fix it or accommodate a refund or discount since our kids can’t practice on the hoop. Her and her boyfriend don’t communicate so he will say one thing and she says something completely different, she lied about not receiving a zelle when the bank clearly stated it was deposited to her and she cancelled our remaining practices and now won’t respond. So I definitely filed a complaint with Secretary of State and Nevada business. She needs to be put out of business cause she’s taking peoples money and doing completely wrong by them! Stay away from this place! I rather practice outside with my kids before I give amber a dime! The gym needs to be upgraded in so many ways. She doesn’t maintenance the building at all.
