The vibe was wonderful and I loved that Rachael gave scientific informational tid-bits during some of the movements. It felt nice to be given the "why" behind some of the movements. Will definitely be going back!
June 17 · JacobI have attended several events at The Pillar and continue returning because Rachel proves to be knowledgeable in yoga philosophy and the physical body as she address both in her class. Rachel cues me to move my body in ways to release tension. Nothing exotic in the poses, no stress here. Rachel is a perfect guide to teach me how to use my breath, and to find kindness and compassion in my body, offering variations, props, and modifications for me to soften and exhale stress. Adding her soft voice in relaxation adds to moments of mindful meditation. I see Rachel passionate in her work here. I highly recommend taking one of Rachel’s classes. I am currently registered in The Care Team Teacher Class at The Pillar.
