★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've been studying pilates on and off since 2005, and I love Anna's work the most! She lets you opt into either at-home or in person classes, the space and music are lovely and mostly she's just an excellent teacher. Anna is kind and funny and encouraging, if you're looking for great affordable pilates, look no further!
April 23 · TB RAnna was recommended to me by my acupuncturist and we have been working on some strength and i jury prevention goals. I actually do her “homework “ unlike some past PT that seemed more specific to injury. Anna’s knowledge of anatomy and how it all works together has been a critical tipping point in how I think about movement day to day.
April 14 · Miss ToriAnna and Kaitlin are both extremely knowledgeable and kind movement practitioners. And, more than that, they make movement fun! As a dancer, I am picky about who I work with when it comes to both ongoing physical training and also injury prevention and recovery. On multiple instances, Anna has helped me work though pain and injury by guiding me through movement on-site and virtually. She has also given me exercises to do at home, which has helped me keep my body happy long-term. I would recommend The Movement Studio to folks at all levels of Pilates familiarity. 10/10, no notes. I love this studio and the folks who run it!
March 05 · Alyssa NobleAnna is a gifted Pilates instructor and I love her approach to bodywork! She makes class and hard work approachable and fun. I can’t recommend her - and The Movement Studio - enough!
February 06 · Jena MatzenAnna is a brilliant diagnostician, and she has in her head a seemingly endless encyclopedia of potential exercises and movements to address whatever a particular body needs. She is a very clear communicator, she is focused and on task, and she is always encouraging. Also humorous where appropriate! I always look forward to my private Pilates sessions with Anna, leaving feeling ten years younger every time! I have also taken her group mat Pilates class for several years, and it has been transformative. I tell all my friends that they will feel better if they will only take Pilates with Anna!
