I've always kept in good shape by exercising 3-4 times a week. But these pilates classes have had an overall effect of increasing my body's flexibility and strength due to a stronger core. I also don't wear a brace on my right knee anymore when I do the stair master or when I social dance because of the various exercises I've been doing in these pilates classes. It's like a physical therapy class for the whole body.

The classes are all different and each time you attend....even if multiple times per week, you can be assured you will work something different each session. I have frequent hip pain and when I am consistent with pilates I am at my best. When I began with Tensile Strength Studios, I was able to attend 3-5 sessions a week and it was the only exercise program that provided amazing results, took away aches and pains and made me feel my better than my younger years! There are a lot of benefits of going to a studio that specializes in one area vs a gym that covers a bit of everything. The knowledge and care they demonstrate with each client when instructing shows. Having only up to 6 people per class allows them the ability to focus on everyone's form and make sure each exercise is being done correct and working the right muscle groups for maximum results. Their credentials shine, they are the best by far!
