StretchLab offers a highly specialized range of services centered around the practice of assisted stretching. The core of their offering is not about lifting weights or running on a treadmill, but about improving the foundational aspects of physical health. Here’s a detailed look at what you can expect:
- Assisted Stretching Sessions: These are one-on-one sessions where a trained 'Flexologist' works with you to stretch your muscles. This professional guidance allows for a deeper and more effective stretch than you could achieve on your own. It helps to increase your flexibility, improve your posture, and alleviate muscle tension.
 - Group Stretching Classes: For those who prefer a communal setting, StretchLab also provides group classes. These sessions are led by an instructor and focus on improving flexibility through various guided stretches. It's a great way to enjoy the benefits of stretching while being part of a motivating group.
 - Flexibility and Mobility Training: Beyond simple stretching, the services are designed to enhance your overall mobility. This is crucial for preventing injuries and improving performance in other physical activities, from sports to everyday movements.
 - Personalized Plans: The staff at StretchLab often works with clients to create customized stretching plans that target their specific needs and goals, whether it’s for post-workout recovery, chronic stiffness, or to prepare for an athletic event.

The unique features of StretchLab set it apart from other fitness and wellness establishments in Illinois. These highlights contribute to its welcoming and professional identity:
- Women-Owned Business: StretchLab identifies as a women-owned business, a distinction that resonates with many in the community who wish to support female entrepreneurship. This identity often shapes the culture and values of the business, creating a supportive and empowering environment for both clients and staff.
 - Active Military Discounts: In a show of support for those who have served, StretchLab offers discounts for active military personnel. This is a significant highlight for many users and reflects a commitment to giving back to the community.
 - Accessibility: As mentioned, the facility is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and restroom. This ensures that more people, regardless of their mobility needs, can access the services.
 - Gender-Neutral Restroom: The presence of a gender-neutral restroom is another feature that highlights the business's commitment to inclusivity and creating a comfortable space for all clients.
 - Convenient Payment Options: For ease of transaction, the business accepts both credit cards and debit cards, providing flexibility for clients when it comes to payment.

While the service itself is often rated highly, as reflected by a five-star review for the quality of service, prospective clients should be sure to fully understand the terms of any monthly payments or memberships before signing up. For individuals seeking a place to improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and enhance overall body function with professional guidance, StretchLab offers a unique and valuable service that fills a specific niche in the Chicago fitness landscape. It's a place to invest in your body's long-term health and well-being.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love going to StretchLab to help keep my body tuned up and in good working order (whether I’ve been working out hard or sitting at work for too long). This location has great staff, a fun vibe, and the music is always great when I go in on Saturdays!
April 19 · Leah WilliamsThey will not let you out of your monthly payments without a fight and stopping charges on your credit card. After having to move I contacted them the day a new months charges hit. They refused to cancel the charge, refund it, or resolve in anyway. They keep insisting I could gift them to others.Service while I was going was great! Ability to cancel/end service took me from 5 stars to 1.
August 22 · Gabe GonzalezStretch Lab West Loop is such a welcoming and friendly studio. I’m recovering from meniscus repair surgery and have been working with Kristen. It’s been a game changer in my progress at physical therapy. Kristen is extremely knowledgeable about the body’s bio mechanics, especially the major joints and surrounding muscles and tendons. With guided stretching and additional compression sessions I have made significant progress. Stretching helps with all aspects of my recovery. I also love the added bonus of building flexibility, which is key to further injury prevention. I look forward to my weekly stretching sessions with Kristen because I always walk out feeling I’ve released all my tensions.
April 15 · Kaaren KunzeMaya and the whole StretchLab crew have been great to work with over the past 6 months. Have felt a noticeable difference in my body and my flexibility. Highly recommend.
April 21 · Ross TherrienI have been getting stretched at the Stretch Lab since the pandemic. I originally started because the yoga studio I attended was online only. I didn’t like online. I felt this was a good substitute until the yoga studio reopened. After just one session, I felt noticeably more flexible and relaxed. The staff was fun, personable and knowledgeable about the body and muscles. The facility is always clean and very well maintained. Now I do both: Yoga and the Stretch Lab. I highly recommend the Stretch Lab for anyone who is looking to improve flexibility and overall wellbeing.
