As a runner, Melissa not only worked with me to develop quick feet on the trails, speed and endurance on my long runs, but also worked on my full body fitness so that I was not only strengthening my legs, but also my upper body, core and all things in between. Over the years as my roles in life have changed, Melissa has thankfully been a consistent force. The body strength acquired from the early sessions nicely transferred over to my role as caregiver to aging parents and grandchildren. Without Melissa’s instruction and guidance over the years, I would not have been able to perform the strenuous physical (and mental) tasks that come with that role (without injury). As I approach 60 years old, I can’t tell you the number of times I silently thank God for placing Melissa in my life. Her encouragement to always be my best self and push forward has been invaluable!
