Strength Training: This is the core of the club's services. The gym is fully equipped with high-quality, specialized equipment for powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and strongman training. The focus is on fundamental, compound movements to build raw strength and functional power. The gym’s environment is designed to support this type of training, with chalk and dropped weights being perfectly acceptable.
Personal Training: Clients can work one-on-one with a coach to create a custom-designed training program. This is ideal for those who need focused attention, help with form, or a detailed plan for a specific goal, such as preparing for a competition or rehabilitating an injury. A client who worked with Nick at the club mentioned that after just a few sessions for a nagging knee injury, the pain was "almost gone," and they were being taught how to keep it that way, which is a testament to the expertise of the trainers.
Private Lessons: For individuals who want to learn a specific lift or technique, the club offers private lessons. This allows for dedicated time with a coach to break down movements and ensure proper form. This service is invaluable for both beginners learning the ropes and experienced lifters looking to refine their technique for a new personal record.
Nutrition Consulting: Recognizing that nutrition is a key component of strength and performance, the club offers consulting services to help members fuel their bodies correctly. Coaches work with clients to create a dietary plan that supports their training, whether the goal is to lose fat, build muscle, or increase overall performance. This holistic approach helps members achieve more comprehensive and lasting results.

As a member noted, the owner is always updating or building new equipment based on member needs, which means you'll always have access to the tools you need for your specific training style.
24/7 Access for Members: This is a major selling point. The ability to train at any time of day or night provides unparalleled flexibility, which is perfect for individuals with unpredictable schedules. This convenience is a rare find in a specialized gym of this caliber.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been going to Spindell Barbell Club for almost 8 years, and it has been fantastic. As a college athlete, it’s rare to find a gym that truly supports sport-specific training. Bobby designed the gym to meet the needs of serious athletes while also creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages, experience levels, and goals.Bobby is always purchasing, updating, or even building new equipment based on what members need and what he notices is missing, which is exactly what you want from a gym owner. The 24/7 access is another huge plus; it's something you rarely find, especially at gyms that are actually worth training at.I’ve never had a single complaint, and I can’t recommend Spindell Barbell Club highly enough.
July 25 · Aiden FeltyI came to Nick with some knee pain that has been bothering me for the last 10 years. It got to a point where I couldn’t play hockey or squat anymore. After 1 session the pain got noticeably better and after 3 sessions the pain is almost gone. The best part about it is now that I’m almost pain free Nick is showing me how to keep it that way by fixing my movements and giving me workouts. If you have any nagging injuries go to Spindell Barbell club. I am so glad that I did.
June 18 · Ryan MelisiI lift here all the time..Great gym..has all 3 professional lifts.I am 76yrs old and prepping for my 2nd World Championship in Athens Nov2....People in the gym are very helpful and friendly ..I powerlift..nothing here is lacking..Love this place!!
September 20 · Linda RussoWhen I moved to the area I was looking for a new non-commercial gym. I was looking for a place with a culture of getting better and the equipment with which to make it happen. Shortly after moving to the area I walked into the SBC and was greeted by the owner Bobby. Before discussing prices or anything of the such he gave me a walking tour of the facilities and asked me questions about myself and what I hope to achieve. His interest in his clients and members is genuine. He also does personal training sessions and you can tell from the man's physique he knows what he's talking about. So listen up. The facilities are perfect for improving yourself in anyway you see fit. Here you will NEVER have to wait for a squat rack haha. The gym's equipment definitely caters to the strongman/powerlifting/Olympic lifting crowd but it's not at all intimidating. Bobby has instilled a culture of family and respect. It's a very close community that you will be accepted into almost immediately. Even if I don't know the person someone is always ready and willing to give me a spot or give me some advice. There is also an on site Physical Therapist/Trainer named Brett. After dislocating my shoulder I wanted to get back into lifting heavy so I had a consultation with Brett. He set me down and went over my medical history, went through an examination of range of motion and strength. Then he proceeded to show me exercises to ease back into the lifting world and make sure I don't risk reinjury. It's been a year since the injury and so far so good. Brett also does training seminars and has a YouTube channel you should subscribe to. Also occasionally Bobby/Brett will bring in there dogs. Deadlifts & dogs? Can you ask for anything better? There is no other gym I would rather train at than SBC. It simply has the best equipment, community and personnel.
March 16 · Daniel PerkinsThis is the best gym I’ve ever been to. It gives such a family feel. I’ve always found it hard to find such a specialized gym like this and it is such a gem. Special shout-out to Bobby being so kind and the two most precious gym dogs!
