Going beyond the traditional **Gym** or single-focus **Fitness center**, SPENGA is built on the philosophy of 'Ride, Rep, Revive.' This innovative **Physical fitness program** is the first studio of its kind to put equal focus on the three pillars of fitness: cardio, strength, and flexibility, all within a single 60-minute session.
This unique 20-20-20 format—incorporating 20 minutes of **Indoor Cycling** (Spin), 20 minutes of **Strength Training** (often using **High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)** principles), and 20 minutes of **Yoga**—is designed to be a "plateau-proof" workout that constantly challenges the body. It’s a favorite among local users who appreciate the variety, noting that the workouts "WERK my entire body every single time," leaving them "exhausted, drenched in sweat, but... stronger every time."
As a proud, local **Women-Owned** business, SPENGA Pasadena cultivates a high-energy, supportive, and clean environment. They aim to provide what many call the 'Best. Workout. Services Offered
The core offering at SPENGA Pasadena is its signature session, which integrates the three essential components of fitness. In addition to the group classes, they offer focused, personalized options:

- Indoor Cycling (**Spin**): The cardio portion focuses on power output, utilizing specialized technology to measure performance and personalize the ride for a high-caloric burn with low impact.
- Strength Training: This segment incorporates **HIIT** principles with functional and compound movements using various equipment like dumbbells and bodyweight exercises to boost metabolism and create a lean physique.
- Yoga: The flexibility and recovery segment, often starting with strength-driven poses before transitioning into deeper stretches, is designed to enhance mobility, balance, and aid in quicker muscle recovery between workouts.
- Personal Training: One-on-one sessions for members who want dedicated coaching, personalized programming, and advanced focus on specific skills, technique correction, or targeted fitness goals beyond the group class structure.

For local users in Southern California seeking a **Physical fitness program** that truly delivers comprehensive results without sacrificing time, **SPENGA Pasadena** is worth choosing for several compelling reasons. The fundamental structure—the 20-20-20 split of **Spin** (cardio), **Strength Training** (rep), and **Yoga** (revive)—is scientifically designed to maximize caloric burn, boost metabolism, and improve mobility in one efficient hour.
This facility stands out from traditional **Indoor cycling** or dedicated **Yoga studio** options because it solves the problem of a fragmented fitness routine. The highly professional and encouraging **Personal trainer** caliber of the instructors, such as Joanna, is a significant draw, ensuring members receive personalized support and motivation to reach their goals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I started coming to SPENGA in 2019 shortly after they opened. I’ve enjoyed the classes and the instructors are all great, but my experience today was pretty disappointing. When I showed up there were no iPads to check-in on and no front desk staff to manually check-in people. With no way to check-in there were no bike assignments and so we weren’t able to see our zones during the spin portion of the workout. Since there were no other staff present other than the instructor, this also meant there was no one to clean equipment after each portion of the class. In the end, some very nice members volunteered to help out our instructor, Joanna, by monitoring the front door after class had started to let-in any late-comers before locking the doors and also cleaning the equipment we used during the workout. It’s pretty shameful that this is the type of service and treatment that paying customers would receive.I really appreciate Joanna for maintaining her composure and still leading us through our workout despite these circumstances. Joanna is an amazing instructor and she deserves all the kudos for everything she has done to make workouts at SPENGA truly rewarding. Joanna has given each of us so much support on our fitness journeys and it’s disappointing that she wasn’t given the support to do her job today as I know she is one of the reasons that has made SPENGA such a worthwhile experience for myself and others.
March 01 · Maia MI never thought I would enjoy working out. Buuuut... this place is bomb diggity! With it being a little over a mile from where I live, I had to sign up when they opened up in early 2020. I love the variety, and how it's constantly changing and always challenging me. The workouts WERK my entire body every single time! Spin.Strength.Yoga. What more could you ask for? I always leave exhausted, drenched in sweat, but I feel stronger every time! I appreciate that the gym is immaculately clean and the staff is always super friendly. Two snaps, a twist and a kiss to the instructors! They notice when you're pushing yourself and constantly encouraging you to do you - your best! Such a great community here with people who want to build healthy lifestyles, which is super important to keep me coming back. Thank you, Spenga! You're the best! You complete me :)
August 31 · LeilaniI’ve been struggling to find a workout class that I enjoy and I’m so happy that I found SPENGA because I now can get a really good workout and stay consistent! The 20 minutes of spin, strength & then ending with Yoga is what intrigued me at first because I get to try 3 different classes in one and the workouts go by fast that you’re done before you know it. Within those 20 minutes you’re really put to work so don’t let the shorter increments fool you! The instructors are also what makes the classes enjoyable. They are fun, nice, energetic & guide you through your movements. I recommend for everyone to try SPENGA out if you’re looking for a good workout and some motivation!
April 15 · Kiana MameghaniThey make workout fun and you’ll love this place after you come here!Cardio isn’t that bad if you just need to give it all for 29 mins, then strength training is great with different equipment, ending with 20 mins yoga is 👌👌👌
September 20 · Julie ChangI was looking to join a new gym since the pandemic forced me to do home workouts on YouTube, ZOOM, etc., but after a month that got very old and I lost motivation. I tested three gyms in the area and was very impressed with my introductory classes at SPENGA Pasadena right away. I love the spinning and strength workouts, and really starting to enjoy yoga. Shantani and Shelby are amazing instructors full of energy, positivity and plays banging music--that goes great with the 60 minute workout! The staff is great and always greets members so kindly. I've seen them clean and sanitize the equipment after a class, and puts my mind at ease feeling safe during the outdoor workouts. I look forward to indoor workouts again. The Pasadena facility is just beautiful!
