April 08 · Gina TibbsI went from years of a sedentary lifestyle, working out less than 1xmonth, to taking over 50 solidcore classes, majority of which were at the Boystown location. You get what is advertised; a high-intensity, low impact workout. The classes are challenging, but doable with a range of options for beginners and advanced clients. The coaches are knowledgeable; even in full classes, coaches correct and pay close attention to form. Coaches are kind, they are excellent at challenging you while also encouraging proper form and tempo. There are a wide range of times making it easy pick up classes throughout the week. In my experience at this studio specifically and with solidcore in general, they really try to promote an inclusive environment where you are encouraged equally regardless of what you look like compared to the person next to you in the class. It's truly a great place and I'd recommend this studio to anyone looking for a high-intensity, low impact workout.
June 22 · Isabelle ChanDid a first starter 50 class with Coach Gabe absolutely love! He was so fun and helpful while also encouraging and explained functions well for a beginner. Love this location will be back, music was great as well!
May 03 · Sandi Thukua fan of the concept, however, include proper neighborhood interaction (i.e. not antagonizing neighbors and their dogs) as part of your welcoming package for your members, as many of them were caught harassing the only individual on the block walking their dog across the street as they came out of your class around 5:58-6 am.
March 26 · Jaime RamirezI took class with Olivia.M and it was awesome!! When I arrived for my class the previous classes instructor was at the front desk to greet new clients and answer questions. The front lobby was a bit cramped so people coming in will have to compete for space to access the lockers before class. The music in the lobby and inside the class was vibrant and really matched that pace and energy of the class. The instructor took attendance and showed 2 moves before class which is always helpful. The only critiques I have is that no one asked about comfort with hands inc corrections or any existing injuries. It also would have been nice to have more amplifications offered( like one arm elevated V up)Overall it was a really great experience and I’d highly recommend checking out coach Olivias class if you’re looking for a tough, but fun workout!Side note:Parking was easy for me, but I went in the morning when there was really no one parked on the street.
