What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Revolution Gym, LLC is a declaration that you are serious about transforming your fitness, not just tinkering with it. For Kansas residents tired of the impersonal nature of large health clubs, this Overland Park facility offers a profound change of pace. You are not simply buying access to equipment; you are enrolling in a personalized system of excellence that has proven to generate real, lasting results over decades.
The true value lies in the unmatched expertise of the trainers. As customer reviews highlight, the trainers' attention to detail, their ability to push you past your perceived limits, and their knowledge in both the complexities of martial arts and physical conditioning are "next level." This is especially crucial for individuals looking for a "life coach" element—someone who genuinely cares about your well-being, both physical and mental, and helps you build up confidence and capability from the ground up.
Furthermore, the combination of elite strength and functional fitness training with practical, high-caliber martial arts instruction (like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA) provides a comprehensive package that is rare. Whether you aim to compete, learn self-defense, or simply find the most effective way to be strong, fit, and disciplined, Revolution Gym offers a supportive but challenging 'home' where you train alongside a motivated community. If you prioritize real work, expert guidance, and measurable progress over convenience or amenities alone, Revolution Gym, LLC is the superior choice for your fitness revolution in Kansas.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What can I say about Rev Gym? I have been training with the owner, John, for more than 25 years in both Martial Arts and fitness. During that time, I've tried out many other gyms due to distance, but always seem to come back here. His expertise and knowledge in physical fitness are above and beyond most other gyms, and his approach towards coaching and training is unique in that he meets you where you're currently at physically and mentally and builds up from there. In a world of crowded commercial gym chains and health clubs, Rev Gym is one of the few gyms that gives you training at a personal level, where the trainers care about your needs, goals, and well being. At the same time, there is also a sense of community that has been built up, whether in the small group training or on the mat, each person has found a home here and with each other.
December 01 · Siegfried FloresRevolution Gym is the real deal. If you’re serious about fitness and want a no-nonsense environment where people come to train hard and get results, this is the place. The atmosphere is focused, intense, and built around progress — you can feel the energy as soon as you walk in.A huge shoutout to John, one of the top trainers I’ve ever worked with. His knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to push you past your limits without sacrificing form is next level. He doesn’t just talk the talk — he leads by example and expects the same effort in return. The whole gym has a strong, motivated community where everyone is there to get better, no shortcuts — just real work and real results.Highly recommend for anyone serious about strength, conditioning, and self-discipline.
June 02 · Danny JonesBoth myself and my kids have attended Rev for almost 3 years. The kids have really grown in their knowledge, confidence and skill with the mixed martial arts. With three kids, (11, 9, and 6) but started at (8, 6, and 3.5years old) it's hard to find a place or activity all can do and excel at their own pace (while also feeling challenged), but here all the boxes are checked. They have learned discipline, taken greater responsibility to prepare for class, they want to succeed and when they do they are really proud of themselves because they know they had to work hard. I also feel mixed martial arts are a great foundation for their other sports because they learn how to control and maneuver their body, it enhances hand eye control, speed, agility and the most coveted....GRIT!For myself, I love the space, it's spacious, aesthetically elite to other gyms without the big crowd and difficulty finding space or focus. Lots of cardio equipment as well as barbells, free weights and equipment for what I want to focus on.
November 20 · Katie Kincaid-LonghauserSeriously a fabulous gym for the whole family!!The Mixed Martial Arts classes for children is wonderful. Have two introverts that have built up their confidence since a year and a half ago. They both have learned to speak up for themselves and taken up leader ship roles. Their teachers have reached out to me to let me know that they have seen growth. I am so blessed to have Master Brown as their teacher and his crew. The gym side has a very clear set of workout routines. This tribe has great resources if you are a beginner or a veteran of the gym. No need to be shy please reach out for info on how to begin the next chapter in your life. You won’t regret it!!!
November 30 · Bridget ServilleI've been a member at this gym for 7 years now, every day brings a new challenge to my fitness. Absolutely love the coaching I receive - kickboxing, strength training, mobility, self defense, and more. Whether you have a specific goal in mind or just want to improve your overall health this gym is there to support you!
