What is Worth Choosing?
For anyone in the Virginia region, particularly in and around Norfolk, seeking a fitness center that is both effective and fun, Railroad Aerial Arts is a premier choice. The most compelling reason to choose this studio is its unique and inclusive atmosphere. As one reviewer aptly put it, they "never felt so free" to be themselves. This level of comfort is a testament to the fact that this is an LGBTQ+ owned, women-owned business that has successfully cultivated a truly welcoming and non-judgmental community. This makes it an ideal place for individuals who may feel intimidated by traditional gyms and are looking for a supportive space to explore a new way of being active.
The physical benefits are another key reason to choose this studio. The classes, which use muscles you "probably haven't used in a while," provide a challenging and effective full-body workout. While the exercises might feel like play, the results are real. The fact that customers were "sore from using muscles" a day later highlights the intensity and effectiveness of the training. The instructors' ability to adapt classes for all skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students, ensures that everyone gets a meaningful and safe workout. This is especially important for activities that involve strength and form.
Ultimately, Railroad Aerial Arts offers a life-changing experience that goes beyond physical fitness. It is a place where you can challenge your body, express yourself artistically, and become part of a supportive and diverse community. For a Virginian looking for a fun, creative, and effective way to get fit, this is a truly worthwhile and exceptional choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely loved this class and would like to take advantage of their 10-class package in the near future. I’ve never felt so free to literally just hang and be myself. Lol. The instructor was great and very good about dividing her attention between groups. She was patient and helpful for those that were nervous. Her vibe was so calming, even though she wasn’t extroverted, I wanted to be her friend in my head. The icing on the cake is that this class was an unexpected, all be it pleasant, full body workout. Will definitely be back.
May 05 · Andrea SheardI had the pleasure of taking a class this past Sunday with three of my closest friends. We really enjoyed the class and our instructor (can’t remember her name at this time). We selected the silks and hoop class and I must say, we had a ball. The next day we were all sore from using muscles we probably having used in a while but it was so worth it.
August 19 · Tenika DavisI can’t stop raving about it! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The class was well-structured, engaging, and welcoming to beginners, making it the perfect introduction to the art of aerial movement. The real standout of the session was our phenomenal instructor, Tes. She created an encouraging and inspiring environment where we all felt empowered to explore and push our boundaries. Whether it was breaking down techniques with patience and clarity or cheering us on as we gained confidence in the air, Tes made the entire experience unforgettable. If you're looking for an exciting new challenge, a fantastic workout, or just a unique way to move and express yourself, this class is an absolute must! Thanks again, Tes,❤️
May 10 · asia coleThis was something definitely out of my comfort zone! I loved the way Kristin kept pushing me to keep going and keep trying! She has a heart of gold and GREAT sense of humor! I will definitely be returning!! Me and my group of friends will be taking up a pole dancing class soon! I 100% recommend!!
April 08 · Naomi GIf you are thinking about it, please do it! I have my first beginners class today and I had so much fun. The Instructor was very honest about the experience, but make sure we were safe and have fun. It was an intimate small group so we all had a hands-on experience. Even in learning and messing up, it was still so much fun. I will definitely be going back again! If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it!! And please make sure to stretch.😂
