Proper Frequency Fitness Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For Georgia residents seeking more than just open gym access, Proper Frequency Fitness in Atlanta represents a dedicated approach to health, movement, and sustainable fitness. This is not a high-volume, self-service fitness center; it is a professional, client-focused environment where training is highly personalized and rooted in a deep understanding of the body's functional needs. The core philosophy here revolves around the idea that effective training should address not just strength or endurance, but the fundamental quality of movement to ensure long-term health and vitality.
Proper Frequency Fitness specializes in delivering customized training that adapts to the client’s changing body and evolving goals. This is particularly valuable for local users who have struggled with traditional gym settings or those who require specific guidance, such as post-injury recovery or specialized programs for different life stages. As one satisfied customer noted, the approach focuses on getting the client to their overall goals "safely and efficiently." The highly knowledgeable and caring trainers, exemplified by the deeply praised Ty, aim to make every part of your life better—from hiking and running to simply enjoying day-to-day activities with renewed energy and confidence. Whether you are turning 60 and starting your journey, or a seasoned athlete looking to adapt your training, this center provides the expert attention you need to succeed.

Services Offered
Proper Frequency Fitness focuses on high-value, individualized, and targeted training and assessment services:
- Personal Training: Highly individualized, one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to meet specific fitness goals, health history, and current physical capabilities. Trainers focus on adaptability, ensuring the workout evolves as the client does.

- Group Fitness Classes: Structured sessions providing the energy and motivation of a group setting while still maintaining the proper focus on form and functional movement principles.
Features / Highlights
- Highly Adaptable and Knowledgeable Coaching: The team, including highly-praised trainers like Ty, is repeatedly recognized by clients for their patience, deep knowledge, and ability to adapt training programs to individual needs, body changes, and long-term goals. This ensures a sustainable path to fitness.
- Focus on Functional Movement: The incorporation of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is a significant highlight. This crucial service assesses how clients move *before* they train, ensuring all programs are built on a solid, injury-proof foundation, which is a major benefit for both beginners and former D1 athletes alike.
- Results-Driven Confidence: Customer reviews consistently emphasize the life-changing results achieved, citing newfound energy, improved physical confidence, and a renewed ability to enjoy activities like hiking, running, and travel—far beyond just aesthetic changes.
- Comprehensive Life-Stage Support: The center is uniquely equipped to handle diverse needs, from young clients in youth classes to older adults (like a 60-year-old client) who are looking to maximize their vitality and enjoy life to the fullest.
- Holistic Training Approach: Coaches look at the "overall goal(s)" of the client, which includes providing guidance on complementary elements like food prep, ensuring a holistic and sustainable path to wellness rather than just temporary gym routines.

What is Worth Choosing
For Georgia residents, Proper Frequency Fitness is worth choosing because it represents a major shift away from the ineffective, one-size-fits-all model of fitness. The critical differentiating factor is its commitment to personalized, functional health and injury prevention. The foundation of their service, the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), ensures that your training program is custom-built based on your actual mobility and stability, not generic assumptions. This approach—moving well before moving often—is essential for avoiding injury, especially for those involved in rigorous activities or those beginning their fitness journey later in life.
The professional and caring trainers, like Ty, are highlighted as "one of the best" for their patient, knowledgeable, and adaptable guidance. Clients don't just get a workout; they get a true path to a better quality of life—experiencing "energy for life now" and the ability to enjoy hobbies that used to be difficult. If you are in the Atlanta area and are tired of the revolving door of fitness fads, or if you require specialized attention for post-injury recovery, youth development, or adapting your fitness as you age, Proper Frequency Fitness offers the expert guidance and personalized structure needed to achieve real, lasting, and confidence-boosting results.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ty has truly changed my life! I turned 60 and realized that, without help, I really had no clue how to be truly healthy and fit. I can't figure out how to use a gym. I've gone my whole life always trying to find clothes that I don't look "too bad" in. So I found Ty and have been going to him ever since and have no intention of ever stopping. I have energy for life now. I LOVE getting dressed! The workouts I do with him make every other part of my life better, energy for hiking, for running, for trips, for dancing, anything I want to do that used to be hard is not! Don't get me wrong, I am not a 61 year old looking to be 20, but to be the best 61 year old I can be and really enjoy my life. Ty has made a huge difference in my life.
June 24 · Suzanne VanPattenI have worked out for over 20 years, and even at the D1 level, and I have to say Ty is one of the best trainers I have had! He is patient, very knowledgeable, and cares about his clients. As people grow, our body changes, and what use to work last year for you, may not now. Ty’s adaptable approach to training (and food prep) has allowed me to get my body back (and my confidence) without hating the path needed to get there. He looks at the overall goal(s) of his client and gets you there safely and efficiently. Hands down, great trainer, and even more importantly, great guy!
July 15 · Elissa KingslandI have been Ty’s loyal client for approximately 4 years. Ty is an experienced trainer with strong technical knowledge. He works extremely hard to understand my fitness needs and to help me achieve them. He takes the time to develop workouts and programs specifically for me, being mindful of any challenges that could hinder our progress (eg bad knees). Ty understands the life of a busy executive, so he has been flexible to train in person, via FaceTime, and when needed, he sends videos for me to train on my own. Ty motivates me to keep it up, even when I get tired. He is a great accountability partner. Most importantly, Ty is wonderful young man with impeccable values. He cares about me as a person, and it shows! I truly enjoy working out with Ty!
July 08 · Beverly AndersonTy is a fantastic trainer! He’s very individually focused and takes the time to understand your body, your goals and your lifestyle and develops programs that are highly customized. He’s always responsive and works to accommodate your schedule. He pays close attention to form and adjusts exercises (often on the fly) if you have any health issues/concerns. He also goes above and beyond like giving you things you can do on the road if you’re traveling and want to keep up with your training. I highly recommend him!!
July 22 · Tina ShahI followed Ty when he first started Proper Frequency Fitness back in 2022. He had nearly a decade of experience in the industry when our paths crossed. He offers a challenging, dynamic, convenient, and motivating workout experience tailored to YOU- your personal goals, experience level, and lifestyle. If you are ready to commit to high-quality workouts, then look no further- PF will deliver. In 2021, I had a vague desire to "feel stronger" after losing the drive to exercise consistently. As a former athlete and long distance runner, I knew I wanted change, yet I was hesitant to set the bar too high. Ty is phenomenal -- passionate and knowledgable about fitness, he is professional, and he above all, he truly cares about his clients. Each and every exercise has a purpose, which he will explain to you. After just a few sessions, I started to notice subtle improvements like better posture (and sleep!). After just two months, coupled with diet changes, my results snowballed- increased muscle mass, overall tone, and flexibility. Ty's sessions will keep you engaged and progressing towards your goals. My fitness journey started off small, and I quickly believed -- and saw -- that the sky is the limit. I've since relocated from Atlanta (he offers virtual sessions too) -- I'd be a forever client!! . If you made it this far, and aren't convinced PF is for you, then you aren't ready for a change!Ty deserves 6 stars!!
