I’ve been working with Lisa for six years, and she has been instrumental in changing my body for the better. She’s an expert on both the techniques used in Pilates as well as pedagogy. She uses her expertise to find the right exercises suitable for your needs. I came to her very uncoordinated and with a congenital hip issue, and she has been able to help strengthen my core and develop my self awareness so that I can do things, like running, that I didn’t think I would be able to again. She is no-nonsense and honest- be prepared to be pushed to do the hard work that leads to results!

This is especially great for people who have pains and have any kind of joint problems but anyone who’s interested to learn the art of Pilates can take the class. The lady Lisa who runs it is 62 and she’s so fit. She usually does a class of 6 because she really wants you to get it right. Amazing amazing class!! Available through classpass as well. I feel very different and great after my first class. Have never felt this way before. I recommend!!!

In every situation her teaching was thorough, thoughtful, challenging yet appropriate to one's strength level and classes are always fun.
