Philly InMovement - Queen Village Introduce
For families across Pennsylvania, finding a reliable and engaging sports complex for children is a top priority. In the heart of Philadelphia, Philly InMovement - Queen Village stands out as a unique and dedicated space focused on movement education for children of all ages. This article provides a detailed look into what makes this sports complex a notable part of the local community, from its accessible location to the wide range of services it offers for your little ones.
Philly InMovement is a vibrant and inviting hub where children can explore physical activity in a safe and structured environment. The philosophy behind the complex is to provide more than just a place to play; it's about fostering physical development, building confidence, and instilling a lifelong love for movement. With a focus on gymnastics, creative movement, and other physically enriching activities, the facility aims to increase body awareness and coordination while making exercise fun. The atmosphere is generally described as warm and encouraging, with staff who are passionate about their work and the children they serve.
While a majority of the reviews praise the positive environment and the fun experience for kids, it is important to acknowledge that some customers have had significant negative experiences. These have included issues with communication, scheduling, and overall organization, which is a critical aspect for any service-based business. One detailed review highlights a series of frustrating events, including last-minute cancellations and what the customer perceived as a lack of respect for their time. This feedback, while concerning, provides potential clients with a balanced view and underscores the importance of clear and consistent communication with the facility. Despite these criticisms, many other families have had very positive interactions, praising the staff's patience and the joy their children experience during their time there, especially during open play sessions.
Philly InMovement - Queen Village is conveniently located at 500 Kenilworth St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, USA. Situated between 6th and 5th Streets, just south of Bainbridge, the sports complex is nestled down a small alley, Kenilworth Street, behind the Philly Art Center. This location makes it easily accessible for families residing in the Queen Village neighborhood and surrounding areas of Philadelphia. The address is central enough for many to reach by car, though like many urban areas, parking can sometimes be a challenge. The presence of a wheelchair-accessible entrance ensures that the facility is welcoming to everyone. The specific details of its location in a "big red building" can serve as a useful landmark for first-time visitors.
The surrounding neighborhood is a bustling part of the city, with other businesses and residential areas nearby. This location adds to the convenience for parents who might be running errands or grabbing a bite to eat before or after their child's class. The accessibility of the facility is a key component of its appeal, as it allows for easy integration into a family's busy schedule. The fact that they have multiple locations also provides flexibility for members who might be traveling between different parts of the city.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love taking our little guy to open play! You can see how much everyone loves working there. It’s a great place to let the little ones burn off some steam.
November 27 · Nicole SpauldingDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!This has been the most unprofessional and disorganized experience I have ever dealt with. Since May 10, 2024, I have endured constant scheduling nightmares, ignored messages, last-minute cancellations, and blatant disregard for my time. From the very beginning, getting a consistent private lesson time was a complete disaster. Every time I tried to confirm a slot, it was either already taken, changed without notice, or outright canceled. Communication was non-existent—I had to chase them down for every response, and even then, I was met with vague and unhelpful answers. The final straw? After months of rescheduling chaos, I showed up for my daughter’s lesson only to be told she couldn't train because they had double-booked her session. And to make it even worse, Coach didn’t even have the basic decency to apologize in person. Instead, she sent someone who acted like it was no big deal—like my time meant absolutely nothing. This place is a complete joke. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and have zero respect for their clients. If you value your time, money, or sanity, STAY FAR AWAY from this place. I am demanding a full refund and will never recommend this disaster of an establishment to anyone.
March 15 · Garima SinhaMy daughter started gymnastics with Philly InMovement this fall after her old gym closed down due to structural issues in early 2022. I am beyond pleased that I chose to enroll her here. She is learning at a much faster rate than before and she really enjoys the activities they plan for her group during each session. I appreciate that the class sizes aren't too big because it allows her to get an adequate amount of turns to practice new techniques before the end of class. Small class sizes and multiple instructors also help to keep her focus since she's no longer waiting for a large group of students to go ahead of her each time as she did at her old gym. I definitely made the right choice by enrolling her here. I highly recommend this gym to anyone interested in signing their child up.
November 27 · Christina WilsonMy son LOVES Philly in Movement! He has been taking classes for 2+ years, and he especially loves the warm, caring staff. I'm happy with the gender diversity, friendliness, and organized manner of the classes. They are very disciplined in a super-positive and supportive way. Thanks for a great experience! They have even been extra helpful when my son experienced some anxiety.
November 28 · Mama MouseMy 2 year old loves it here! We’ve done Lil Tumblers 1 and 2 as well as open play. Great activity for a toddler with lots of energy!
