★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1People’s Yoga is my favorite studio in the Lansing area. It’s inclusive, affordable, and offers a huge variety of classes and times. Each teacher has their own unique style, which I love. There’s truly something for everyone. The workshops are also really fun. My daughter loved the aerial kids yoga class!
April 29 · Lisa MulkaI’ve been a wheelchair user for almost 50 years, and I started my yoga journey with Peoples Yoga over a year ago. The studio itself is extremely well equipped, and I love the way the space has been designed. It was an old building which has been tastefully renovated with a unique architectural flair. It’s not just stylish, but it’s also extremely clean and has everything I need for a great yoga session. The instructors at Peoples Yoga are incredible! I want to give a special mention to the owner, Misty, who is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to work with. Indeed, all the instructors are well qualified and are truly dedicated to making sure everyone feels included and well catered for. They offer a wide variety of yoga classes for all levels and abilities. What really sets this studio apart is the personalized one-on-one instruction I receive, and I have found the experience empowering and transformative. I highly recommend Peoples Yoga to anyone looking for a supportive and beautifully maintained space, no matter what your abilities are.
July 02 · Alan HaddowI highly recommend People’s Yoga Studio. The instructors are very impressive, assuring that each person is learning and growing in their yoga practice. I love how they are very safe as well with people who have injuries or special needs. The instructors work with all body types. Props are used to bring the floor to the person so that each person can have the best experience possible practicing yoga. There is an option of taking unlimited classes each month making it easier to just do as many classes as possible each month. The teacher training and workshops and classes are amazing and inexpensive. Additionally, I recommend the teacher training. That is a unique experience that will make your life better by teaching you yoga, health, the body and movement. People’s Yoga Studio has a yoga community making life better overall.
May 02 · Marcella FoxThis is a fabulous yoga studio. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, and the space is lovely. I appreciate how the instructors are attentive to individual needs and provide suggestions to both enhance or modify one's practice. They help us find our balance which, as they understand , fluctuates. The instructors take the time and care to get to know each yogi in the class. I greatly appreciate this studio and the community of yogis who practice there. It's such a safe and welcoming yoga studio! You'll love it!
April 30 · Jill MCThis studio was my first introduction to yoga and I absolutely love it. All of the instructors are attentive and great at cues that help you achieve the proper alignment and engagement. I feel like I learn something new about my practice every week, and overall just enjoy being around the lovely community they've created. My favorite class right now is the Better than Barre class with Liz!!! It's a great strengthening, low-impact work out, and Liz is amazing at making the class fun and accessible for everyone. I'm excited to be able to go to more Better than Barre classes throughout the week!
