Orangetheory Fitness Introduce
Introduction / Overview: The Science of Sweat in Washington State
For residents across the Eastside of Washington, particularly in Redmond and surrounding areas, **Orangetheory Fitness** represents a powerful and unique approach to physical well-being. This facility is recognized as a modern **Gym** and **Fitness center** that merges cutting-edge exercise science with the energy of a group setting. It is the premier choice for those seeking a structured, results-driven **Physical fitness program** guided by expert **Personal trainers** (Coaches).
The core of the Orangetheory experience is its signature 60-minute, full-body workout, known as the "Orange 60." This program is built around **Heart Rate Based Interval Training**, scientifically designed to produce **Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC)**, or the "afterburn," which keeps your metabolism elevated for up to 24 hours post-workout. Participants wear heart rate monitors to track their performance in real-time on in-studio screens, aiming to spend 12-20 minutes in the target "Orange Zone" to maximize fat burn and improve metabolic efficiency.
Redmond members consistently express their enthusiasm for the program, describing the workouts as something they "genuinely look forward to." The community is noted for being "really warm and welcoming," with "amazing coaches" who are highly motivated, energetic, and provide clear instructions. This combination of scientific method, real-time technology, and an infectious atmosphere makes Orangetheory Fitness a standout choice in the competitive Washington fitness landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I gave them two stars because I love Orange Theory but this branch should get zero because of their refusal to make a reasonable accommodation for my disability even though I came into the studio the day before to give them a heads up on my needs and I offered to share documentation to back up my request. It sucks that they can’t be more welcoming to people with disabilities. And here is a shout out to all of the OT branches that are more gracious AND follow the law:“Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (ADA), businesses that are open to the public must provide reasonable accommodations for customers with disabilities to ensure they have an equal opportunity to access the business's goods and services.”
September 19 · Susan ChapinI just completed my 50th OT class and have been loving it! I genuinely look forward to going to class. The front office staff is super friendly, helpful, and supportive. The coaches are amazing — highly motivated, energetic in every class, and they give clear instructions during the workouts. The community is really warm and welcoming. I recently participated in the Dri-Tri event, which was very well organized and had lots of food, drinks, and OTF merchandise for the participants. I 100% recommend it!
April 29 · Dhairya PatelI started doing Orange Theory about a year ago. I was looking for a community of like minded people who shared my values for fitness. I have tried many fitness programs but I have not found anything as supportive and customized as orange theory. The workouts are heart rate based so if you are just getting started in your fitness journey or you have been pumping iron for a long time, you can work to your fitness level. I love how data driven the workouts are, and how you can measure your progress as you improve. I travel a lot for work so I have visited many studios but none are quite like Redmond Town center location. They go above and beyond to build community. This past weekend I participated in their dry tri event and the coaches went all out decorating the studio to match the theme (Mario Kart) it made getting up to workout on a Sunday just that much better. One of the coaches even made the most beautiful cookies. Highly recommend OT and the Redmond studio.
April 29 · Chelsea MackosI've been going to this 🍊 for the past 1.5 years and it is frickin' fantastic! I understand this format and type of workout isn't for everyone, but it definitely checks all my boxes. The coaching staff is friendly and welcoming, with great feedback on form and techniques. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. The other members create a sense of community that embraces everyone. The front desk has been very helpful and is quick to tackle all my dumb questions.
April 29 · Avril BatyI've been thoroughly impressed with the friendly, thoughtful, and skilled coaches and staff at this OTF. Great sense of community and encouragement. I've tried classes at many studios and this one sets the standard. I also appreciate the little touches like acoustic panels in the studio to make it easier to hear the coaches (and enjoy the music)! My only gripe is wishing this studio had the newer treadmills that go up to 15mph.
