What is worth choosing
When evaluating fitness centers in the New Jersey area, individuals must consider various factors to make an informed decision. With a gym like NJ Fitness, it is particularly important to understand the full scope of the commitment. The gym's location on a main street in the City of Orange is a key benefit, providing easy access for local residents. For those who live or work nearby, this convenience can be a significant advantage, saving time on daily commutes. The fact that the gym accepts standard payment methods like credit and debit cards also streamlines the process of paying for a membership.
However, it is crucial to approach the decision to join with a clear understanding of the gym's policies, particularly its membership contracts. Some public reviews have raised concerns regarding the cancellation process and contractual obligations, mentioning difficulties in leaving the agreement even when moving away. These accounts describe a strict requirement for a letter and proof of relocation, and a perceived lack of flexibility. These are serious claims that prospective members should consider carefully. While the gym may have its own reasons for these policies, it's essential for individuals to feel comfortable and confident with the terms they are agreeing to.
Furthermore, some reviews have also highlighted concerns about the cleanliness of the facility and the level of staff assistance. These are important points that can impact the overall experience and should be investigated firsthand. A visit to the gym during different times of the day can provide a clearer picture of the environment, cleanliness, and staff presence. While a gym's primary purpose is to provide a space for physical exercise, a positive and supportive atmosphere is often just as important for long-term motivation and success. For these reasons, it is highly recommended to conduct a personal tour and ask detailed questions about the membership terms, cancellation policies, and daily operations before signing any contract. Making an informed choice is the best way to ensure that your fitness journey is a positive and successful one.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1DO NOT join this gym, If you choose to move away they will still charge you for 1 year agreement. Cancel your credit card or close your bank account they are horrible. Yes and they want a letter and proof that you have moved. I guess they are owned by the mafia. Who does that!!! No wonder why your gym is always empty. Keep this up and you will be closed for ever.
July 23 · Naruto UzumakiThis gym is disgustingly horrible. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. The place is super dirty, some of the employees barely speak English and they don't assist with anything ever. The manager is a young guy who basically bought a gym to profit of of people. The parking lot is dark, full of glass and is shared with other used broken down cars. They won't let you out of your contract because they would have no customers. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM.
December 06 · YodiBathrooms were always dirty, small work space and for the prices that they charge, you'd think they would have done maintenence to the place. At one point the ventilation was terrible and I felt like I couldn't breathe. There are holes in the wall from last year. Only went there for the convenience of the location. Other then that, I was very happy to leave and I do not recommend anyone doing a contract with them. Just pay monthly is this is your gym of choice.
July 25 · Al-Rahman GreenI had a gym membership with them two years ago. Just read all the reviews below for them going after you when you cancel and they make you send a hand written certified mail letter to cancel, is this the 1990s? I wanted to cancel the membership because the location is not good, the parking lot is not safe for you nor your car at night and theres a smelly Fish restaurant i could get smell every time I'm in the small unlit parking lot. The manager immediately became unfriendly to me when I wanted to cancel and make the process difficult. You're better off paying the extra 30 bucks enrollment and 5 extra per month and going to la fitness in west orange. The location, people, parking lot and abundance of street lighting and parking make it many times better and safer. Believe me I've been a west orange resident for 20 years.
May 29 · Shihan RehmanTHIS GYM IS A BIG SCAM!!! DO NOT JOIN WITH THEM, there phones don’t work I Signed a 1 year contract with them and half the time they didn’t have a UFC instructor. Now my contact is over they telling me I have to write a letter stating why I want to stop going to the gym. Wrote the letter they said that they have received the letter but because I didn’t put a sticker on it they can’t accept it. Mind you there HR department is in the room behind them. SCAMMERS!!!!
