And the other ladies in the class are so kind and helpful. I work full time , so I think I will start off with 2 days a week. And work my way up.And the best part that I absolutely love is , it’s only 8 mins from my home. If you are looking for a safe and clean and professional fitness center, Mid American Fitness is your place.💯😊💪🏾
November 03 · tonya martinEver since I fell in love with so many small businesses in the Metro Detroit area, this past September I spent a bit of time looking for a fitness studio that offers hybrid (virtual and in-person Live) classes. One of them I found was Mid American Fitness. I EASILY fell in love with the studio despite living a half day drive away! *FYI: A drive from my hometown in the Hudson Valley or from Stony Brook University is 12+ hours away from the studio.* So for obvious reasons, I have just been joining virtually. My first ever class was with Ericka, one of my favorite instructors. I heard she’s had so many years of experience, which I truly love and appreciate. I exposed myself to so many new workouts I’ve never tried before. Stony Brook University’s Recreation Center has all the equipment I need so I can follow along with the in-person people. I’m very happy that I never had to pay extra money just to buy my own equipment. I’m also super happy that Mid American Fit continues to offer virtual spots even now, since the first few weeks of the pandemic and I only started joining this past fall. My only complaint is that Stony has very strict mask mandates inside the Rec Center, which may sometimes prevent me from fully following along. Other than that, I LOVE all the instructors and everything about Mid American Fitness itself so much!

Fantastic instructors, a wide variety of fitness options, clean, modern facility and equipment, and a totally friendly and supportive vibe. I love that I have the flexibility to work out in person or virtually. The online library also lets me workout at times that are convenient for me.

The FIIT 35 class has a super flexible schedule, allowing me to get in more often, and I am seeing amazing results! I also love that I can work out while my daughter does dance classes in the same facility. I highly recommend Mid American Fitness!

Very friendly owner and front desk staff, always available for last minute schedule change. Trainers are amazing. Parking is never an issue. Great local fitness community!
