★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After working out in my basement for nearly 10 years, I was struggling for motivation. I went to another gym for about a year, but I don’t do well with self guided exercise, so it wasn’t working well for me. I had been following Helen for quite a few years so I knew about Lobos when they opened last year. I got a friend interested in signing up, so I decided to join her. We’ve made even more friends in the community because everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. I love to see people of all abilities showing up together and none of us feels like we’re being pushed too hard. Every coach meets you where you’re at and helps you to improve one workout at a time. There’s no body shaming or nutrition chatter. They have multiple opportunities to connect as a community each month too. I’m glad I found this community and finally started working out with Helen, Ari, Lesly, and Stephanie. I know I still have so many more people to meet and I look forward to it.
August 20 · Faith BurlingameI cant say enough amazing things about this Gym! I've never loved going to the gym, it always felt like a chore, and after a year of being fully withdrawn from any physical activity I was super hesitant to take that first free class. I am so glad I did! They make the classes fun, have great music, open to all ages, meet you where you are at in your physical movement journey, cheer you on, provide modifications to all the exercises and so much more! The one thing I never thought I was going to get out of joining Lobos Gym was a community. They truly put into practice what they say that health is more than just about your physical appearance, it is also about your mental well-being and the community and people you surrounding yourself for your social well-being. Aside from classes they offer so many other programs, monthly hikes, a monthly free class fully in Spanish for the Latino community, they collaborate with other organizations in town for events like sound baths, workshops, and so much more. All of this adds up to a pretty awesome community. Everyone is SO nice, like genuinely kind and I've made some good friends that hold me accountable! Helen and Ari told me after that first class that I would be back, and they were right. I'm so grateful for the Lobos Gym!

June 25 · Lisa DowneyI have always struggled with my weight and having a consistent fitness routine. I formally had been here when Ari and Helen had it under the name the camp, but I wasn't ready to commit a couple years later I rejoined now its Lobos Gym, and it has been 6+ months now, I have been eating right and consistently going 5 days a week. The people are great, people of all skill levels, so there is a place for you, no matter the level of experience you have and zero judgements. Everyone including the trainers are so encouraging and push you to do your best. I have regained my confidence and even down 30lbs now! I would highly recommend this gym, come join the wolf pack!
