Lift Society Introduce
Welcome to Lift Society, a premier gym and training center located on the famous Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Lift Society is not your typical big-box gym; it's a unique boutique fitness space dedicated to the art and science of strength training. Our philosophy is simple: we believe that strength is the foundation for a confident, resilient, and healthy life. We provide a focused and intentional training environment where you can build real, lasting strength without the guesswork or the risk of injury. Our approach is perfect for everyone, from absolute beginners who have never touched a barbell to experienced lifters looking to make continuous progress.
The core of our model is the semi-private, small-group class, which offers the personalized attention of a private trainer with the camaraderie and energy of a team. As one of our members expressed, "I’d always wanted to get stronger but had no idea where to begin. I didn’t have the money for a personal trainer and at big box gyms I’m completely lost with all the machinery and people in the way. Lift Society is the answer to that problem." Our small class sizes, typically with a maximum of 8-12 people per session, ensure that our expert instructors can provide the form correction and individual guidance you need to succeed. You get your own dedicated station, so you never have to worry about waiting for equipment or feeling lost in a crowd.
Our instructors are not just coaches; they are mentors genuinely invested in your progress, praised by members as "top notch" and "very attentive and knowledgeable." One long-term member shared that in over two years, their "lifting knowledge and muscle gains have been incredible," starting with no barbell experience and now feeling "fully versed in it." This is a testament to the effectiveness of our coaching and our commitment to our members' long-term success.
Lift Society is conveniently located at 7300 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046, USA. Our prime location on Sunset Boulevard makes us a central hub for those living and working in Los Angeles. We understand that parking in Los Angeles can be a challenge, which is why we offer multiple convenient parking options. Our facility provides both a free parking lot and free street parking, as well as on-site parking. This abundance of parking helps remove a significant barrier to getting to the gym and ensures a stress-free arrival. We also have a wheelchair accessible parking lot, demonstrating our commitment to making our facility accessible and welcoming to all individuals.
The combination of our central location and our dedication to providing hassle-free parking makes Lift Society a practical and highly appealing choice. We want your focus to be on your workout, not on finding a spot for your car. The easy accessibility contributes to the overall positive and seamless experience our members enjoy.

The emphasis on "tracking your numbers" makes progress tangible and keeps you motivated, a key feature that makes our program highly effective for muscle gains and overall growth.

The emphasis on tracking your progress and the constantly changing programming means you'll never hit a plateau or get bored with your routine.
The supportive and welcoming community is another key factor. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been going to Lift Society for over two years and the lifting knowledge and muscle gains have been incredible. I went in with no barbell experience and I feel fully versed in it now. The instructors are top notch and it feels like you have a personal trainer when needed. The class sizes are small and the instructors are very attentive and knowledgeable. The thing I like the most about it is that there are no overhead snatches or similar cross fit moves, and everything is very focused on not getting injured, so you get a big lift in, but without the downside of Injury. There is a big emphasis on tracking your numbers, which makes growing much easier and keeps you on your edge, and the system changes every month so it never gets old, which results in constantly growing in new ways. Three days a week is all you need, and there’s a Sunday class for those that want a little extra! Highly recommended!!!!

May 12 · Christian MikkelsonI joined Lift Society because I wanted to learn how to workout properly before joining a larger gym. 3 years later I’m still here and cant imagine leaving. My workouts here are truly my favorite parts of my week.Things that keep me here:- Personal squat racks- Great community- Knowledgeable and fun trainers- Evolving programming that works and keeps it interestingShoutout to Jason for always pushing me harder 💪🏻
May 22 · Steven WarnerLift Society has changed the game for me. After trying all kinds of stuff (lifting at a gym, CrossFit, etc), Lift has been the only one to actually change my body in the healthiest of ways. I'm more muscular, but most importantly, I'm much much stronger than when I started. You add amazing trainers and a community of folks that aren't pretentious (like in many others places *cough cough*) and are really there to support each other, and it's a done deal. Honestly don't see myself doing anything else.
May 30 · Orlando AlvarezIf you’re looking for a small boutique gym that focuses on form when it comes to weight lifting this is the spot. Do not be intimidated by the decals on the front windows. The programming changes every four weeks, and the format of the class starts with either a lower body or upper body move with the intention to increase the amount of weight as you decrease the reps. The remainder of the class is doing another lower body and upper body move at high reps. This location has a cap of 8 people per class, but some of the other locations have more space. You get your own station so you don’t have to share barbells. You also are partnered up with a person to be each others spotters when doing bench presses. All the coaches are great, but one of the best is Matt. His classes tend to fill up fast.
